Try something different - stay on a boat! M/S Pearl has four cabins with seven cottages, in addition you can make for two in the lounge. Generous common areas in the wheelhouse and lounge and large areas on the deck where you can brew sail. Well equipped kitchen with stove, oven and fridge. The boat is centrally located in the center of Mariestad. It is only 200 meters to the popular harbor stalls and 600 meters to the station. You clean after yourself. Soap, toilet paper, kitchen towel, a towel in the toilet, nine covers and pillows are available. BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS!

At the southwestern end of Hajstorp lies Kanalingenjörsvillan, which was the official residence of the channel engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today, the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the big garden is the little charming bush home. It is from the middle of the 19th century but has been carefully equipped with toilet and small kitchen/kitchenette.

Bicycle path connects this idyll with nice beaches only 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp / Göta Kanal you can reach by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 min). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop at road 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

The service residence at Storön Gården

On Storön you get to experience the tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. It offers Vänern which offers amazing sunsets and baths from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We even have an amazing forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In wintertime, there are nice ice cream for long-distance skates. The service home sits on a farm and every day there is the possibility to accompany and feed the animals.

In this newly renovated house you live in the middle of nature, with only deer and fenced cows as neighbors. The surroundings are beautiful with a view of forest and oak grove, about a hundred meters away you have your "own" beach to swim from. The peaceful atmosphere without wifi and TV inspires calm and harmony in harmony with nature. Cottage next to our residence on the farm with cow pastures around the corner for rent. 600 meters from Göta Kanal and Hajstorp locks. You live in an old grain magazine that has just been converted into a comfortable small home for four people. Another person can fit if two share a 120 cm bed or if you make a bed on the sofa. Horses and cows are nearby, thus there are also flies. Sometimes it sounds like tractors and sometimes smells like manure during spring and autumn use😃.

Emelie was a great host. We felt comfortable from the first moment and communication was very easy. The location of the house right on the lake was great. Bathing either on the “own” beach or from the bathing jetty 100 m away with a bathing island is great. Wonderfully quiet location and the whole day we could enjoy the sun on the spacious terrace. Our 2 week stay went by too quickly!

This house was great for our group of 6. The location was wonderful and situated in the woods with lots of quiet and nature. It was still close to swimming and a grocery store was only about 10 minutes away. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice house suitable for both small and large groups. We were on a work trip, seven people for about three weeks, and we were super happy with the place. The house was fully equipped with everything needed. Great contact with both Louise and Jimmy. We will definitely rent from them again.
