Vacation rentals with a pool in Margate

At first I wanted to give a bad review, just so that no one else discover this beautiful gem in Southbroom, but alas I can't. The house is absolutely stunning, with everything you need, a home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated, one immediately wants to treat the house and everything with respect. Kim's attention to detail, welcome note, Christmas decorations, communication throughout our stay was excellent. Billy her husband assisted us with something small that had to be repaired and arranged someone on Christmas eve. Billy also notified us throughout our stay of what is happening in and around Southbroom. The house is perfectly located, easy to go for walks on the beach, trails, shops, restaurants, golf, padel, everything on your doorstep but still in a quiet and peaceful street, which is difficult during the festive season. Thank you Kim and Billy for sharing your beautiful home with us, this will definitely not be our last visit, hope to do so soon again.

Southbroom is a great holiday spot. We loved the house - gorgeous views, spacious for a family with teenagers. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Walk down to the beach for sundowners. A real spoil with Augustine and Joslin taking amazing care of us. Super clean and well equipped.

Great accommodation for our large group. So close to the beach, view is great! Loved the large patio and pool. Centrally located. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Bonus was the wifi which wasn't listed.

We had a wonderful stay at Carinya Cottage. David and Heather are excellent hosts and made us feel right at home. They are very helpful and accommodative in our needs. We were a group of 12 people but the house is spacious enough to comfortable enjoy. It had all the needed amenities and more which made it extra special. The area is peaceful, surrounded with beautiful nature and Kidds beach was a winner. Thank you Heather and David for the enjoyable stay! We hope to visit again.

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Vicki's place. The house had everything we needed, the view was amazing (dolphins, whales, birds), Vicki was always responsive, and the three minute walk to the beach directly down from the house was perfect. It's a 10 minute beach walk down to the official Umzumbe Beach with its lifeguards/amenities/surfers. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We saw joggers and people walking their dogs, and we always felt quite safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized Regina the helper one day and she was great. As we're not used to setting/disarming alarms, we struggled a bit with the alarm system, but we eventually got the hang of it. We experienced load shedding one evening, but with the propane/gas oven and all of the candles plus large flashlights available, this was actually enjoyable. We plan to return!

We had an amazing stay at Rock Shandy - the view is breathtaking! The hospitality of Matthew and his wife is amazing. They kept the house sparkling clean throughout our stay, made us firewood pizza in the outside oven and were always there if we had questions. Thanks for this great vacation!

We loved every inch of the place and made the most of the many amenities available. Beautiful interior: The design has an artistic, natural appeal, with Nicola’s personal and thoughtful touches that really showcase her creativity. Beautiful exterior and surroundings: A spacious yard perfect for a picnic, a braai area, and a stunning garden. An exceptional host: Nicola was incredibly friendly, proactive, and responsive. We felt completely at home—it was like visiting family. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and serenity. We’ll definitely return. Honestly, I don’t even want to waste time looking for another place—if it’s not available, I’ll just change my dates, lol. Thank you, Nicola, for making our trip so memorable.

What a great experience. If you're an early riser who enjoys a good sunrise, set your alarm clock and make your way out of bed to the balcony. I promise it's worth it. Among the best sunrises I've watched and filmed! AND, an absolute bonus on our final early morning on the balcony... Dolphins surfing in the waves, whales coming up for air, and even potential shark breaches in the background! Plus I must mention the wealth of nature sounds and bird life in view. Between Jared and Erika, they did a great job hosting us. Definitely visiting again in the near future.

The most beautiful unit we havr ever stayed at, in San Lameer. Idyllic location,on the water, gorgeous outside area, spacious, air con throughout, upmarket fixtures and finishings, the most comfortable beds and crisp linen amd towels and so much more! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Our stay in Southbroom was peaceful and relaxing. The flat has amazing views and easy access to the beach, and a restaurant very close by. Safe and private, two amazing pools. We enjoyed our holiday at Beverley’s place

Our family of five had an amazing stay! The unit was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The unit was close to shopping centers for convenience and just a short walk from the beach. It was the ideal base for a family holiday. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

A pity that I did not get to use the apartment myself due to last minute plans on my end. Nonetheless, Sherita is very thoughtful and was easy to reach. She left clear instructions on how to access her place which I shared with my father. He had no complaints. Thank yoh Sherita. It was a busy weekend for the family but you bared with us.

Lovely place that felt like home!! Right on Margate main beach with amazing views, as well as being close to shops and restaurants. Razia is lovely, super helpful and always available to assist when needed!

A wonderful place , walking distance to the beach and The Famous Waffle House. There is a file in the apartment which gives you details of activities in the area. The pool and games keep the kids entertained. The apartment is spacious. Enjoyed our stay.
