It was our 2nd stay at the escape. Requested our stay on very short notice, and Maria quickly gave us access to the house! Once again, the place very clean and comfortable! If we ever get back up in the area, that's the place we will stay! Thank you for everything Maria!

We had a great stay at the island. It was perfect for our family trip of 7 (3 generations) to gather. Fishing was great on the lake and at the island our 9 year old son could explore, catch bull frogs and dragonflies, fish and paddle board around the island. We even got to see a turtle lay her eggs behind the cabin one night! Thank you for a memorable trip!

My family really enjoyed our stay at Moose Point. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for four nights in the middle of our Minnesota adventure, and it was such a treat to use the kayaks and paddle boards—so much fun! My kids especially loved fishing off the dock. One of the main reasons we chose this rental was the high-speed internet, and it did not disappoint. My husband had to work throughout our stay and experienced no issues with video calls or transferring large files. He even got to enjoy stunning views while working! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including basic spices, which was a nice bonus. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Beautiful, clean peaceful place! the wrap around porch was our favorite spot to sit and visit. We would definitely stay here again!!

We would stay again in a heartbeat! The spotless rooms seemed larger than the photos. The beds, furniture and deck are comfortable. We were 4 adults and two preschoolers and it worked for everyone. Although there are many cabins on the lake, it was very quiet during our visit. Swimming and water play were the main focus for us, but we did catch a few fish, too! The dock is large and perfect, and the lake clean. We launched our boat across the lake and docked it. So much was provided in the way of toys! Allison was a wonderful host and offered tons of details, tips and was immediately responsive to questions. Because we were there later in August, some of the advertised children’s events in town had ended for the season, but with so much to do at the cabin, we didn’t miss it. We preferred sitting amongst the tall pines, having a fire, and watching the full moon over the lake while listening to the loons! Little touches, such as homemade fire starters made life easy! Thanks!

Morning coffee enjoying the stellar view of the glassy lake in the morning, and falling asleep to the loons at night are just a couple of the consistent bonuses of this property. The bass fishing was great when the weather permitted. Our group of eight had an incredible time here (despite some poor weather days).

The cabin is absolutely stunning with great views. The only complaint is that the pictures show a queen bed in one of the rooms and it was instead two twin beds. Overall a wonderful place!

Great location. Cute dated cabin but with updated appliances, bathroom, and technology. Golf course nearby with bar & grill and a nicer sit-down restaurant. Dock and watercraft were great, plenty of outdoor folding chairs.

We had a great time at Loons Landing! Knotty Pine is well appointed - it had everything we could have needed. Like most resorts in the area, you have to bring your own towels. The cabin and resort grounds are clean and cared for. Small detail that I really appreciated - there are hooks for hanging clothes, towels, etc. everywhere. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time here in Orr and we had a wonderful time staying at the resort. Would definitely visit here again. Thank you so much for hosting us!

We annually rent a lake cabin for a family getaway. This property is a cut above! And we always stay in nice places. It is clear that the owners love this place and spend time there themselves. The place is so well maintained, livable, and has everything we needed. So nice to stay in a place that isn’t just a rental!

We really enjoyed this lovely cabin. The views of the lake are beautiful and very relaxing. The cabin's location so close to the lake made it feel very private. We even heard the loons! The cabin was spacious, had everything we needed, and was nicely decorated. It was also super easy to bring our stuff up the ramp into the cabin. We hope to go back again!

This is a lovely cabin, a few feet from the lakeshore and set in a peaceful woodland. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to relax, would love to stay again.

The cabin was the perfect spot for my parents visit to MN. It was partway between the activities we were doing, hosts were both very attentive and also let everyone enjoy their time. We stayed a week and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend this cabin on the lake.

We came back for Christmas and had daughter and four kids along. The Lodge, as always, fit the bill for a large group. We enjoyed the campfire ring (wood provided) and the peaceful setting. This is not a cold log cabin, as the modern HVAC system kept us comfortable the entire stay.

Big spaces. Great for large families or big groups. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Big views of the lake too. We had four couples and it was perfect.

Absolutely perfect for our family get together! My brother lives in the area but his place is not well suited for guests, particularly as my dad gets older, so I found this place nearby. What a GREAT find! I don't think you can get a more beautiful location - the sunsets were amazing since the lake is 50' away. Also, my dad is getting older and having back issues so really the best thing about it was the beds were comfortable. We all slept well, which is awesome. We didn't get out on the lake because it was a bit chilly, but as long as it's available this will be our "go to" place for family trips, so hopefully the weather will be nicer next time and we can go out on the lake. Thank you Richard and Lauri for sharing your cabin! We loved it and we'll definitely be back!

The cabin was great, exactly as described!! It was a beautiful private location and the hosts were very responsive! Would definitely book again!

Larry’s place was a perfect cabin in the woods for my family vacation. We took advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks provided, we spent most of our time on the lake, and Larry was very friendly when he stopped by to make sure we didn’t need anything. We loved this place so much we want to come back next summer. A perfect secluded place in the woods and highly recommend! Thanks Larry and Mary!

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! It is bigger than the pictures make it look. The layout is nice. It has a variety of areas to sit in & relax. The screen porch with swinging bed is a neat addition. There is a decent sized fire pit with chairs around it. There were burning restrictions so unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage of that but would have had we been able to. We didn’t have to eat out as everything we needed we brought to cook on the full size stove/oven. It also had a large fridge, air fryer & many pots, pans, & utensils. It was very well maintained & very clean. It’s easy to find, not far off the main road, very peaceful & a great place to relax & enjoy the sounds of birds.

This place was amazing! We loved relaxing by the fire pit and enjoying the views of the lake. The sounds of the wildlife were so peaceful. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the paddle boat and kayak to check out the lake! Highly recommend!
