Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mara Lake

Wow, what a stay at Erik’s place. We were visiting for a family wedding and Erik was extremely helpful throughout. The place is absolutely spotless and everything seemed brand new and done to a very high standard. Lots of great practical things such as wardrobe space and Netflix for a longer stay. The beds were super comfy and the showers were brilliant. The view from the house is simply fantastic and we spent many an evening sat round the fire soaking it in. Erik was extremely friendly and even let us stay for an extra 90mins past check out when our lift was delayed. Cannot fault our stay. This will be our home away from home when visiting family in Vernon.

everything was great. all amenities was good. the water body is not accessible, shushwap lake is nearby. proper beach in shushwap is little far. view from the property is good. for activities, you have to drive . this is a good place for a peaceful gateway.

Loved this space! Lots of beds for people - can easily sleep 10 with potential for more. Extremely well equipped. Blocks from the beach. Yard is large with areas for yard games and there is also a basketball hoop. Rachel was super easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the covered deck and fire table. Highly recommend!

Bailey was a great hostess. She made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The house is so cozy and a short walk to the lake. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back again.

Nice large accommodation at Blind Bay. Easy to access by car and always with clear instructions. I recommend for a calm stay in the area.

We cannot say enough good things about Alexia and this unit. She accommodated us every step of the way and was super helpful throughout the stay. We were in town for a wedding and Alexia made sure our stay was very comfortable. The home was very clean and had everything we would want in a home away from home. The property itself is in a great area - very close to downtown so we could access the shops but far enough where we had a lot of privacy. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the Okanagan!

Lisa’s place is absolutely amazing. She has an eye for quality is hands down the best host we have ever had. The views are spectacular, WiFi is great, the place is comfortable and close to everything. I’d highly recommend staying with Lisa!

We had a great time. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and lots of little extra’s like games and stuff for the beach. We felt safe and thought the unit location was very central with quick access to the pool and lake! Everyone we encountered at the resort was friendly and helpful! We would love to come stay here again!

Comfortable condo , well stocked and very clean. We enjoyed the fact that the condo was on the main level and we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the greenery around us.

Technically our 3rd stay at Taunia's suite, and there will be more. For the cleanliness its worth every dollar! She is a great host, friendly and very responsive to any requests and messages. You wont find a cleaner "pet" friendly suite anywhere. Great pub across the highway, quiet suite at night and not downtown, so a very peaceful setting. Highly recommended!!

Very nice place in the Schuswap. Well appointed suite, close to beaches and other amenities. Beautiful garden grounds. A private deck for the suite. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Delicious chocolate chip cookies left for us to enjoy! Overall, a great place!

The condo is great, with everything you need for an awesome vacation.

We had a great time! This cabin was perfect, surrounded by the lake, waterfall, forest and the stars. The cabin had everything and more. Cheryl's creativity reflected in every corner. We highly recommend this place!

We had a great visit at Danielle’s cabin. The cabin is perfectly situated in very quiet woodsy area but only a 5 min drive to a winery, downtown and close to the mountain. We recommend this cabin for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Christina

This place was exactly the escape our group needed. With a very open concept and extended space onto the very large deck, there were lots dining and entertainment with this place. It is super private but still close to lots of amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here to recharge the batteries or spend time with your friends and family! 5/5

5 Stars – A Perfect Golf Trip Getaway! We stayed for five days during our annual golf trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The hot tub was ready when we arrived and became a nightly highlight. The standout of our trip was Eveline’s hospitality. We arrived in Blind Bay earlier than expected with a load of groceries and reached out to see if early check-in was possible. Eveline responded quickly and graciously accommodated us, as the cabin was already clean and ready. That level of service made a big difference. The beds were comfortable, the amenities top-notch, and the welcome book was incredibly helpful, outlining everything we needed for a smooth, stress-free stay. We’ll definitely be back next year—highly recommended!

My friends and I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear check-in instructions. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—actually, even better in person. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like coffee, toiletries, etc. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and hassle-free Airbnb experience. Hosts were extremely responsive and made sure everything was going well. We ran out of well water because of the extreme drought and Rob was there immediately to check it and gave us a full refund for the rest of our stay and gave us the option to stay if we wanted. We used refillable water containers from the owner so turned it into a glamping adventure which was awesome. The lake here is gorgeous and there is very easy access across the road to a private spot on the beach. The swimming is excellent and the water is super clean. Property is fun to explore and we really appreciated being able to have the dogs.
