Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Maputo Province

Silvia was a very friendly host and her place has beautiful rooms and balconies - I would highly recommend a visit! She is also close to several nice places to go out for food and drink, and it was a pleasure for our group to stay there.

The apartment was exactly what I pictured it to be, it was private, peaceful and centered I didn't have to request for a taxi most of the time, the apartment was super neat and very accommodating, I just wish that they fix the wifi sooner to make the experiment even better than it was. The host was very approachable and flexible in communication, her and the husband I really am grateful for them, their checkin time is really flexible; upon arrival He checked us in earlier and granted us a later check out as we requested, they even offered to take us to the apartment themselves. they were prompt to help us once we got there.I am really grateful for this because it is not common..

I spent only one night but its a really nice and clean place, only i could not find an iron box in the morning and i was in a hurry. will definitely visit again

It is not your run of the mill Airbnb listing; it is an art gallery turned guesthouse. You can spend days checking out the paintings, the artefacts, the dolls, and other objects Raquel has collected from all over the world. Small shortcomings (bedrooms facing a busy street; this third floor unit can be impacted by noise generated on floors above), can easily be ignored to enjoy the stay at this unusual place.

My mother and I were allowed to spend two weeks in Guy's apartment in Maputo. Everything was super clean and maintained. The apartment is on the 12th floor, so at the very top and has a roof terrace with a breathtaking view. There is no elevator but a small workout can't hurt;) The apartment is very bright, welcoming and spacious. One of the bedrooms even has a bathroom and a private balcony! Guy was very helpful and friendly. We can only recommend the apartment and Guy as a host.

The apartment was very clean and we felt very safe. A little communication difficulties between Antonio and us as we don't speak Portuguese. But Elena communicated very well between us.

We had a great time during our stay. Noleen was very responsive and friendly which made it a very pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Malema's place. It is quiet and peaceful, you only hear the sound of the waves, and with a beautiful view of Maputo city. We went with our two dogs, and the fact that the compound was fenced and big enough for them to run freely was definitely a plus. As you open the backgate you are immediately on the beach, perfect for walks. The house is charming and well-equipped. And the assistance from both Malema and Nkossi on site was just perfect.

This place was peaceful and lovely, off the main road and very private. the grounds were beautiful and the groundskeeper was so friendly and kind. What a hidden gem. I loved how the kitchen was set up as well. We loved our stay and this is one of the rare places in Ponta with a really comfortable bed!

Melanie was proactive in communicating with us weeks before our visit. When we asked for early check-in and late check-out she was quick to respond and super chill. The spot is ideally situated. You don't see another house, there's nearby beach access, and it's ideally situated so that you get the feel of the isolation of Ponta Malongane, but only a 20 minute beach walk to Ponto do Dorouro. The pool was great, the feel inside the glass main room was incredible. It's a great property with a super host.

Helga is very helpful friendly and called the taxi driver to explain directions in how to get there. This is the second time we stayed there. It’s very well set up and she even helped provide breakfast supplies so we could go straight to sleep after a long day of travel.

Albino is a very good host, he is responsive and pays attention to any issues that require his attention. He’s also very friendly and the swimming pool was very helpful and enjoyable right on the door step.

Great host, great place, and nice location. I will stay here again when I come back to Maputo.

Felt like at home, Miguel the host was excellent at all times and so were the staff. All courteous and friendly, the place is conveniently located, close to main streets and accessible to nice restaurants five to seven blocks away

Açucena is a very busy person but at the same time present, kind, helpful and informative. We shared some meals and it was a very nice cultural exchange.

Communication with Uler was excellent right from the start. He's a proactive and thoughtful host who pays attention to every detail and is always ready to help with anything. The apartment was clean, cozy, and instantly felt like home, even though everything was handled over text messages and one phone call as Uler was out of town. I’ve already booked my next stay for next month! Highly recommended.

Uler (Samy) is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met! He is very responsive, considerate, and always checks if there’s anything he can improve or if I need something. His place truly felt like home and was very clean. Also, the location is excellent - one of the safest areas in Maputo and surrounded by many great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Maputo :)
