Cabin vacation rentals in Maple Bay

Stayed here with some friends for a weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for the four of us. It had everything we needed and the host even provided delicious baked goods, eggs, milk and more. The backyard hot tub and bbq were great. The host was extremely communicative and so lovely to deal with. Will definitely be coming back the next chance I get!

We stayed at Cusheon Lake Resort while on Saltspring for work. Glen met us to make sure that we had our orientation as we checked in. We stayed in cabin 2 and it was stunning - a beautiful space, comfortable, peaceful and with a beautiful view of the lake. One of us stayed on the sofa bed which was great for our needs. Having a kitchen available to us was also a big benefit to us as we worked long hours. It was such a treat to come back to a hot tub & sauna after a long day’s work. We also made use of the paddle boards for an early morning paddle. We loved our stay here and look forward to our next!

We had a lovely stay at Jenny & Curtis’s Cedar Cabin - the place was as described, quiet, ocean views, birds and the hot tub was excellent and fun. Everything was perfect and it provided us a couple of nights of total relaxation and peace. Amenities were perfect, the bed upstairs was super comfortable, and the deck was amazing for sitting out and enjoying the views and sun. We would stay again in a heartbeat and loved that it was away from the city but still had places to visit and eat close by. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

This has been our favorite Airbnb stay ever! The views are insanely beautiful..it was honestly mind blowing! Sunny and Aparna went above and beyond to ensure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. They were the most friendly and helpful hosts we have encountered. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen was well stocked. We very strongly recommend staying at this beautiful cottage!

This house was magic. From the second we walked in the door until the moment we left we were blown away. Nothing compared to sitting in the living room in late afternoon with the sun coming through trees. With two of the bedroom spaces requiring ladders, accessibility is definitely a consideration, but for us this was no problem and added to the feel of being in a treehouse. The unit had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. We will definitely be back!

We had a great gals weekend at Chris' place. It was a beautiful spot and had everything we needed! We loved reading on the deck, cooking meals together in the spacious kitchen and soaking in the hot tub. Great location for day trips to French beach, Sooke Potholes and stoked pizza. We all agreed, we would love to book again for next years trip! :) Thanks for everything!

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

Wandas place was a haven for those just looking for a break from the city. Close to great restaurants like crow & gate and Mahle. Close to relaxing easy but scenic trails. Parks. Farmers market on sundays (maybe weekends) Big and really quiet space.

10/10 would stay again (and did, just now!)… this was our second time to Alex and Laura’s place… they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and the place is super cozy and all the natural light coming in through the trees alone makes it worthwhile! I work on the island when I’m around, and the walk to Sturdies Bay is gorgeous and very quick… you can arrive on foot and make it to theirs if you don’t carry too much with you… it’s about a 40 minute walk to the ferry… Thanks again so much guys!

Stayed here 2 nights and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Spotless linens and super comfortable bed. Julia is a wonderful host who has a beautiful property. Would definitely book again.

We enjoyed the accommodations thoroughly. Very private, rustic setting. Bright kitchen on the sunny day and a nice deck to enjoy your morning coffee, or late night toast. Well appointed/stocked with handy items. The coffee beans and grinder was an awesome touch for a coffee lover (me), and the drinking water/ dispenser supplied was SO appreciated. Well done

Glamping on a farm - a tranquil experience :) We were greeted by Lisa on arrival and were provided a fun tour of the farm. After that, you are free to roam the farm and pet the animals on your own, which was really cool! My dogs could roam off leash around the vicinity of the cabin which they loved. Tips for fellow visitors: If you are 6 feet or taller you probably don’t want to book the bunk beds in the cabin. They are very short and we could not stretch our legs. If it is raining, there is no under cover area to hang out outside without getting wet, so plan on a cozy evening inside and bring books (and head lamp) and games! Thank you for the great time, Lisa.

We loved our stay here. The dock was perfect and the lake had plenty of fish to catch. The lake is perfect for paddle boarding and you will see plently of boats and jet skis on a warm day. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dinnerware and tools go feel right at home. There was even lighters and chargers. We appreciate the plenty of towels stocked in the laundry room. There was plenty of fire wood and it was easy to light a fire with fire starters. The hosts were extremely responsive. We ran out of propane and had it replaced within minutes. We even got a visit from the resident dog Rosie, who was lovely and so sweet. Would definitely come again. Thanks!!

this guesthouse is a gem! private, peaceful, with beautiful views, comfy beds, all the thoughtful details and essentials. the outdoor shower was such a treat! we'd love to come back.

Tara’s place was perfect for our stay in Salt Spring Island! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, cozy and clean, and Tara went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Super clear check-in/check-out instructions, tons of local recommendations, and always so responsive if we had any questions. And we loved having the company of the goats and alpacas :) Would absolutely love to stay again if we make it back to Salt Spring and would recommend her place to anyone looking for a Gulf Island getaway

We had a lovely stay here! It is a beautiful location, nice and close to town with fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and provided everything we needed.

A beautiful and serene stay at this adorable cottage. Lots of love and care have gone into ensuring a most pleasant stay. Just a short drive from Gagnes village for restaurants and local artisans galore. Host was always responsive when needed. Bed was super comfy and the heated bathroom floor was a delight during the cooler evenings. Would highly recommend this quaint stay!

Adam's home is a perfect place for a group. Huge commercial kitchen, pool / fuse ball tables and a large sectional couch for get togethers. Rooms are massive with balconies. Hope to return. Thx, Adam.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.

I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for quiet, conveniently located spot in Chemainus. It was very clean and had everything I needed for my 2 month stay! Sharon was a wonderful host and also went above and beyond to help me during a snowstorm this past month. I will definitely be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I love it being on the water. We have stayed in other airbnb properties on the same street that were not waterfront. I love the view from inside and on the deck. The proximity to Roche Harbor (what a gem) and the SJ Sculpture Garden (rare to find 20 acres of outdoor art) are the draw to staying here. And its very nice to walk around the loop and down to the isthmus to get close to the water.
