The property sits about 100 meters from the beach and you can listen to the sounds of the waves and the jungle from the cottages. We have two identical, two level cottages on a private jungle property. The cottages can be rented separately or together. The cottages are set up to provide simple, peaceful and secluded living. Therefore they come with a kitchenette equipped with a full sized fridge, sink, all cooking utensils, dishes and two burner propane stove. We do not provide any food items.

La Ocean Vista

I first sailed into the bay called Pie de Gigante ( foot of the Giant) in 1976. It was magic, beautiful but Costa Rica beckoned with the stories of empty wave and deserted beaches. Once those wave were crowded and the beached developed I returned to Playa Gigante. I'd spent most of my life looking for Cool Places and this is where I stopped looking and started building. Gigante is off the beaten path and still a fishing village, not an Expat hangout.
