You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning or maybe sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a refreshing swim or maybe plan your mountain biking or hiking of beautiful paths in the vicinity. Right on route of the national cycle/walk way on a lovely farm setting in Owhango, our wee cottage is the perfect retreat after a days mountain biking, skiing or The Tongariro Crossing. Only 35mins to the Whakapapa Skifield and both 20mins from Taumarunui and National Park our place is a good base for the numerous walking or biking tracks available around our district.
