Vacation rentals with breakfast in Manuel Antonio

Luz and Jose Juan are full of love; they have become our family. Luz has a great sense of humor and motherly. Jose Juan is quiet and loving. They have four grown-up children who sometimes stay in the house. This is your place if you want a rural, relaxed Costa Rica experience. It is centrally located, 1.5 hours from the beach or mountains. The kitchen is the center of the house. There is no AC, but there is lots of cross ventilation. We stayed in the main house with Luz and José Juan for a few weeks. Afterward, we rented one of the "workers'" cabins, which was very basic but a great experience. It was what we needed right next to coffee plantations. If you want to learn about agriculture, you are in the right place—birds and butterflies in the wild. If you rent a car, a 4-wheel drive is best. Otherwise, organize with Luz separately for them to take you to places. You can also order UBER. The listed cabin is on a very steep mountain w. gorgeous views. A 4 x4 adventure.

It is a very cozy place, very complete, the service is of high quality, very attentive to our concerns, attentive and helpful. The breakfasts were great and make you feel at home. Super recommended and I would stay at this place again.

We only stayed one night because we were in transition. The accommodation is ok for the asking price. But let's say I wouldn't spend a vacation in this place but it's great to cut off the road between two destinations. Lilliam is very nice and responds very quickly. We loved staying in this house. If you love silence, this option may not work because the house is near the road with a lot of traffic. We had access to everything we could need for a comfortable stay, the internet only worked outdoors. Recommended.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure an amazing stay. The crew is incredibly kind and always ready to assist with a smile. The villas are stunning, with breathtaking views that make you feel at peace. The accommodation is impeccable, and the food is out of this world—fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious. The location is perfect, perched on top of a mountain with easy access to the nearby town and countless outdoor activities just minutes away. I can’t wait to come back and spend a few more relaxing days in this magical place. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is very well located, on a side street with less noise, but still within walking distance of the center. I liked the large terrace and the kitchen, which had everything you need to cook. Check-in was quick and smooth. The hostess is friendly and helpful.

A few words are not enough to describe this beautiful home in the hills of Costa Rica. Truly this is the best Airbnb I have stayed. Wessa is a superb host who communicated with me long before my stay so that on arrival I felt Wessa was my best CR friend. Her hospitality was outstanding. She is a gourmet cook, each meal a delight to eat and artistically presented. I spent my days relaxing around the infinitely pool. Sunsets over the mountains were stunning! Wessa’s place was definitely my CR highlight. Thank you Wessa!

This is the most beautiful place we ever stayed in with a lot of different monkeys and birds coming by every day. We even saw a sloth right on the balcony, it made our day. We wish we could stay longer. The only problem is the 103 stairs are hard to deal with in such humanity. The place is very clean and the stuff are friendly, only problem is the towels are extremely old and the wash towels looks dirty and out dated. We used our own towels but it was a shame that they did not match such charming place.

Had a great stay. Friendly welcome and chatted in the evening, we were still allowed to use the swimming pool, especially for us the water sprinklers in the pool were turned on. Wonderfully woken up with tropical noises and fruits in the morning.

Ian's hotel is the perfect little spot in Dominical. Great location great pool great rooms. Great crowd. Ian himself is a cool guy and has fun plans to expand the place. Really looking forward to staying again sometime.

Great stay in Manuel Antonio. The girls in charge of the house were super nice and were always super attentive; as well as the hosts who were always very attentive to the chat for anything. Great location in Manuel Antonio and very good recommendations for restaurants and beaches.

I stayed here for just one night and it was lovely! The view from the patio is great! The location of this place is nice too there is a beach about a five-minute drive away, restaurants, and small market shops all around! If you are staying here for a short while and are looking for something easy and peaceful, I would recommend it! The only thing I would say is difficult is finding the place. You won't see a big building or anything just look for a sign, a door and some greenery. This place is located directly across from the Falafel restaurant, so if you need directions, I would say put "Manuel Antonio Falafel Bar" into Google Maps. Hope this helps!

Staying at Lipstick Palms was truly one of the most special and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. The home & amenities are unreal! A stunning retreat with sweeping views of the Pacific, a great breeze and every detail is high-end and thoughtful. Annie and Patrick are the kindest, most gracious hosts—you instantly feel like you’re visiting dear friends or family you adore. Upon request, they prepared a beautiful, elevated meal our first night (that peach cream cake was unreal!) and again on our last night. One evening, we went into town together, played pool at a fun dive bar, had chili guaro shots.m- so fun! They also took us to a wine bar on the ocean where we fed bananas to monkeys at sunset—it was pure magic. The location is perfect, the pool is gorgeous, and we felt so at home the entire time. Annie and Patrick were present but never intrusive—it was the perfect balance. Their care, warmth, and hospitality made this stay something we’ll never forget. Dreaming of coming back!

Awesome place, stunning views with excellent service. Quick drive down the hill to the best beach. Road is steep but not entirely impossible with 2WD; excellent internet. Nice airy cabins with no need for AC. Will definitely return, thank you!!!

I was looking for an escape into the mountains and didn't have a lot of time (or preparation) for major hiking. Mirador Valle del General offered nature trails and that beautiful view of the valley which was just what I needed for peaceful contemplation - not to mention the restaurant offers a lovely menu and lots of hummingbirds come visit while you're sitting enjoying the view. This was just what I needed for a night away from the coast.

The place is amazing, is a resort next to the beach with a private road to it. The staff is GREAT, the common areas are awesome, and is relatively close to the things you can do in Manuel Antonio, I would say that if you are looking for a nature retreat PLEASE BOOK THIS HOTEL, is surrounded by beautiful fauna and the views are just great. Only thing is that the host doesn't respond or give indications to get to the place I guided myself thanks to a comment that said the name "Shana by the beach" you can just google it and the gps will take you there.

We stayed two nights at Beso del Viento and enjoyed every minute of it. Everything is spotlessly clean, the rooms are nicely decorated and the pool and garden area are very pretty. We saw a lot of wild life in the garden as well (a monkey, lots of iguanas, birds and aras flying over it). The house is only a few steps away from a beautiful beach which also was a lot less crowded than the surrounding beaches. The included breakfast was very good as well and Bernard and his wife made us feel welcomed. Highly recommended!

I don't know if it's the location, the house, or Rick himself that amazed us the most during our stay. The house is absolutely stunning. The house was so beautiful that we canceled activities to have more time to relax in the house. Rick is one of a kind! He is very knowledgeable about many things, but most of all his humble and easygoing nature is a true example of the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed the heated pool at night as we gazed at the stars. Walking through the garden and picking ripe fruits was one of my favorite activities. Taking a bath during sunset while overseeing the ocean and forest will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. We saw plenty of birds and even a monkey. We didn't have time for it, but there is also a beautiful river tucked in a few minutes from the property. Waking up to fresh coffee and a delicious breakfast made our last days in Costa Rica just perfect. I can't say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and book now. You'll thank me later

Great place with a great location.

If you’re coming to Costa Rica, this is the place to stay. Charlie and Jo were very helpful with activities and what to do. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. The views are very nice. I was worried about AC bc I am from Florida but honestly the fan did me just fine and it was not hot. The first time going up the mountain is scary but after the first time you’ll be fine. Charlie also guiding me up the mountain my first time and sent very detailed instructions on getting there. Staying here, you will be taken care of! I see why people extend there stays here
