This place did not disappoint! We stayed in the panoramic room with a beautiful ocean view. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Eva was extremely helpful and responsive making check in a breeze. She made suggestions of things to do and good restaurants to try. The highlight for me though, was the wildlife you could watch from the balcony. There were monkeys that would come onto the balcony and toucans hanging out in the trees. It made for great entertainment while having coffee in the morning. I highly recommend staying here!

Wow! This place was amazing. My husband, kids, and I stayed at this villa while visiting Manuel Antonio. The house had everything we needed. The views from every room were incredible. We went to the beach most days. The kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. If we are ever back in Manuel Antonio, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time. Andres was very kind and responsive. We loved the private pool and being right on the beach. We enjoyed the sunsets and the daily visits from the monkeys passing by!

Great place to stay! We loved the pool, and my daughter loved the cats, dogs and frogs we found about the property. If you need cribs request ahead of time. They need to be brought up to your apartment. But great place, hopefully we can come back again!

Si vous cherchez un logement dans un endroit calme et isolé c’est l’endroit parfait au son des vagues et vue sur la mer sur une petite route de terre avec une magnifique piscine et une cours arrière vraiment chouette. Les chambres étaient très confortables et Jenny la manager de la maison est vraiment très gentille. Susan est très réactive au messages et flexible, nous avons vraiment eu une belle fin de séjour au CR :) Le resto Mar y sol recommandé par Susan était succulent. Attention les vagues 🌊 sont très fortes, donc plus difficile à se baigner avec les enfants. Mais Plage exceptionnelle pour prendre de longues marches, comme si on était seul au monde ! Le BBQ est très vieux et usé et donc nous ne l’avons pas utilisé. L’appartement était très confortable nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Des heures de plaisir dans la piscine :) Épicerie à environ 20 minutes de l’appartement. Situé à 1h de Manuel Antonio :) donc se fait très bien pour la visite d’une journée !

This place was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The house with the open layout was perfect, the pool and the waterfall right out back was perfect, and then 20 steps to the beach. It’s not a tourist area at all so it’s pretty much a private beach. Israel, the caretaker was absolutely incredible! He was so nice and kind and helpful. He responded to anything that we needed. If you need something, ask him, he is the man. If you are going to do a mangrove boat tour, don’t book elsewhere, look no farther. Israel has the boat 10 steps from the driveway. He took eight of us on an amazing mangrove boat tour and saw monkeys and crocodiles and the mangroves. He is so good with kids! He just wants the kids to have a good time. We really appreciated him and enjoyed hanging out with him. Do you want to ride horses on the beach? No problem, he’ll have horses out back whenever you want them! And everything he set up for us, we felt was pretty reasonably priced. Thank you for an amazing week!!!

I'm so happy we chose to stay at Lapa Villas for our first trip to Manuel Antonio. I can't say enough wonderful things about this home!! it was pristine, and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking Carli was truly amazing. She was so responsive to all my questions and gave us fabulous recommendations for things to do places to eat and helped with all our transportation needs. She was wonderful and we had the most amazing trip. We would absolutely go back and stay again.

Great place with easy beach access but worth knowing that you will have to wade through waste deep water to access the beach. However, it was 100% worth it! Staff was great and they are very helpful and kind.

Loved, loved, loved my time @ this property! Gorgeous views all around, private and peaceful, gorgeous beach just steps away and all around fabulous home!! Looking forward to bringing my family back to enjoy the serenity!

This luxury villa exceeded all expectations! The house made our entire vacation, a 10 out of 10. Having Andrey as our concierge was so helpful and he was so attentive. The location is also perfect! We loved walking to Ronnie‘s place for dinner and sitting on the pool deck, gazing out on the Pacific Ocean. We will be back!

This welcoming, ocean view hotel suite was a great choice! Most notably was the service. Our host went out of his way to create comfort and care. He was responsive, helpful and even showed us local wildlife! The view and terrace is spectacular. We saw makaws, toucans, parrots, white faced capuchins, agouti, lizards, heard howler monkeys and many birds and humminbirds. The rooms stayed cool with the small unit and fan. The kitchen we decently stocked, however we would suggest making sure to have food staples with you if you are cooking. It is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the main beach, parking was usually plentiful and free. The beach was very pretty and not super crowded. We loved Emilo’s Cafe and Holis Spa.

This house is beautiful. It had a fully stocked kitchen, lots of indoor and outdoor space, and feels very private. The pool was great and the outdoor shower and bathroom made cleaning off sand and keeping the house and pool clean easy. The beach felt like a private beach with almost no other people as far as the eye can see. The surf is strong, but the kids had a great time boogie boarding, but do take caution not to go out too far. There are lots of friendly dogs in the neighborhood that roam, but they didn’t bother us. It is about 20 mins from town, so expect to have to drive a bit for amenities. That was fine for us because we were looking for peace and quiet and got it! Comfortable and beautiful house. I recommend.

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

We had a wonderful stay at Casita Alessandro, the property is beautiful with lots of wildlife and birds! Giovanni was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place was nice and clean, with extra towels if needed! We really enjoyed spending our time outside on the balcony. It is a walkable area, with a few restaurants nearby and a quick walk to the beach (although it is a bit of a hike down). There was some construction in the area, and there is a second Casita being built on the property, but the noise didn't bother us as it wasn't excessive. We would definitely stay here again!

El lugar es hermoso, y tienes muchas zonas verdes, muy fresco y espacios para todo Recomendado.

Jamie and Sonia were excellent hosts, any questions they responded right away. The house was even better in person than the pictures depicted. We stayed at the property for 24 days. Almost every day we had a troop of about 20 white faced capuchin monkeys come through the yard between the house and the beach. There were also scarlet macaws that came through almost every day. The beach was beautiful, very clean and just steps from the back door. Jose Luis, the groundskeeper who lives on the property, was great. He takes pride in keeping the property clean, he cleaned the yard twice every single day we were there. It was the most well kept yard around. There is a convenience store just down the street for whatever you need. We were looking for somewhere that was accessible to touristy places without actually being in a tourist area and we got exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts and Jose Luis for making our trip an amazing experience!

Die Unterkunft ist nah am Strand sowie zum Nationalpark, aber auch direkt an der Hauptstraße. Nachts war es ruhig, am Tag gab es viel Verkehr. Am Morgen konnten wir beim Frühstück auf dem Balkon die Affen beobachten, die sehr nah in den Bäumen ebenfalls nach Futter suchten. Wir hatten außerdem oft Besuch vom freundlichen Nachbarshund und der verschmusten Nachbarskatze. Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung und hatte eine funktionsfähige Küche. Zudem war es sauber, wir konnten aber bei Bedarf selbst zwischendurch staubsaugen. Daniela ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin.

The location of this spot was a magical dream. The beach is a gorgeous, beautiful wide chocolate sand beach that goes forever in both directions. There was a huge shady place to hang hammocks between the house and the beach. We were 5 in total, Abuela (79), two kids (6 & 11) and myself and my husband. We all absolutely loved this home and location and would absolutely return.

Gostamos muito da hospedagem. Fomos recebidos pessoalmente pelos anfitriões que nos passaram os detalhes da casa. Alguns detalhes foram resolvidos rapidamente e sempre nos responderam com gentileza e prontidão. Na segunda noite trancamos a porta com a chave dentro e Don José foi lá abrir a porta prontamente (ele mora há 25km de distância). O local fica a 1 minuto a pé da entrada do parque Manoel Antônio e a essa mesma distância da praia Espadilla. Tem restaurante, mercadinho, agências de passeio, bares, tudo ao alcance a pé. O ônibus para bem próximo de lá também. A casa é muito confortável, silênciosa , bem equipada e há muitos animais ao redor (veados, iguanas, macacos). Tem uma sacada bem legal pra tomar café e ouvir as ondas do mar bem cedinho. Recomendamos o lugar, sobretudo pela atenção dos anfitriões.
