Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

The vision for this home came about after we traveled in Europe and fell in love with the calming, slow-paced lifestyle of villages along the coast, mixed with rich architecture focused on natural elements & a soothing palettes. Cross the street and climb to the top of Jockey Ridge for amazing ocean views, hang glide or fly a kite. The ocean is just 1 minute car drive. Atlantic Winds Cottage (1968), an original Nags Head bungalow, is recently remodeled! The cottage is on a private street with only two other cottages. (See Second Wind and Cackalacky Dreamin' to rent together.) Beach access is just 100 yards away, down a secret path just steps from the cottage! Step out on the front porch to chill, read a book or chat with family and friends. The back deck includes adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a park grill for grilling.
