It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

It is a family house, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the conveniences and a few more. The Host ensured an excellent communication and the lady who received us (Mrs. Silvina) overflows sympathy. We were still entitled to some miminhos, which were cherry on cake. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well-maintained and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! Accommodation is spectacular. Very cute, comfortable, with parking at the door and very well located to explore the area and climb the tower. It has air conditioning, heat pump and pellet salamander, which makes the house a very comfortable house.

Due to a change in our plans we did not stay but the host was very helpful throughout the booking stage

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is amazing. A true refuge.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs and it had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions on how to access the accomodation and we could park right in front which was very handy. Comfy beds, all rooms were en-suite and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you

Perfect house especially for the summer, extremely beautiful and with impeccable and creative decoration, made the experience much more memorable. Carolina and her sister were sweet and communication was great and constant. Everything is clean and with everything you need. The pool was nice with a wonderful view of the mountains. Cosy and comfortable house with wonderful views over the valley. Great place to stay in winter too. We enjoyed New Year's Eve here. The place reminded us of our grandmother's house. José is such a nice person. Hope we can come back in summer to try the swimming pool. Place is quiet. It's also close to the places of Serra da Estrela.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Very friendly host and always available to help when needed. House equipped with the necessary utensils and included a stove for cooking meals. Very pleasant and quiet surrounding area, ideal for resting. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days that were felt. The host has a dog that kept us company. thank you and we want to come back!

Beautiful in the countryside, very luxurious and well equipped. Great pool and beautiful well-kept outdoor area. Overall, very high-quality ambiance! Nearest shopping about 10 minutes by car beautiful vineyards for hiking in the immediate vicinity! If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the countryside, with beautiful surroundings, this is the place to be. Landlord and staff very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was absolutely remarkable, featuring spacious rooms that were both comfortable and inviting. The location was equally impressive, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood filled with charming cafes, shops, and easy access to local attractions. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable stay in a fantastic setting.

My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

Andrea and Bruno are pleasant and charming people The property itself is spacious, and renovated to a very high standard. The yard is pleasant and spacious, we picked some lemons and some mint. The view from the balcony is heartwarming. As parents of a small child, we were a little afraid of the stairs, and indeed it was challenging, but good handrails and a pair of gates to block access to the stairs from above really made it easier to cope (the stairs to the lower floor we just blocked permanently because we did not use this floor). The apartment is full of games for children, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter had a wonderful time. The fresh bread and the quality coffee that Bruno left for us completed the experience. The location of the settlement is a little far from the river, and everywhere you need to drive first on the winding road down the hill. But Avo's charming beach is an 8-minute drive, so it's not really a big deal. In short, we will return again and with great pleasure, thank you Bruno and Andrea, we will be happy to meet you in Coimbra as well.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

Our visit to Ines and Miguel's house was wonderful. First of all, we would like to reiterate what was previously mentioned: the hosts are lovely! They are very caring, professional, and respectful towards the place and us as guests. Their deep love for the house is evident in the small details and in the overall hospitality experience. The way they greeted us significantly impacted our experience, making us feel more connected to the place. The house itself is full of character, featuring a beautiful and clever combination of design and objects. Every detail reflects the thoughtfulness and soul of the hosts, as well as the history of the house. We were a group of four adults and two children, and all of us had fun and fell in love with the place.
