Montanita Surf Camp was a perfect start to our stay in Ecuador. Charlie was attentive and friendly knowledgeable. The whole staff took care of everything we asked for. The mojitos were wonderful. Surfing lessons with Frederico and Charlie were first class. We felt welcomed as part of the family.

A tropical thatched-roof structure is viewed from the entrance, featuring wooden supports and soft lighting. Hanging plants adorn the exterior, while a hammock invites relaxation. A bar area with stools is visible inside, creating an inviting ambiance for social gatherings.

Chincho and staff went over and above all expectations. Anything you need, they accommodated. Great local recommendations, fantastic surf guide, great food/drinks and staff. This place should have more exposure of how great it is. Great location to the BEST point break! Great surfing! Yoga studios close by. Anything you need or want to do they will accommodate! I highly recommend this place to the solo traveler, couples, surfers and yogis! Ask for Chincho! He is by far the best host around!! I could not have asked for a better place to stay in Ecuador! I will be back soon! Thank you so much!!!

Buen lugar para ir a descansar y alejarse del ruido. Las instalaciones muy bonitas y limpias. Un lugar rodeado de la naturaleza y animales lindos (perro y gata) solo el ingreso hasta la hostería es lo feo, la calle está dañada y en la noche es muy oscuro. No tiene nada que ver con la hostería pero me hubiera gustado saberlo antes de reservar.

Beautiful section of the beach, the room had AC which was a big plus. Easy to find and check in. Great location close to town. Lived their cats and dogs as well, super sweet! Everyone was nice!
