Great place and Pataua is magic. Graham's place is terrific and kept meticulously. It was peaceful and well appointed. Very functional and well supplied kitchen and great grill on the lovely deck. We were only able to stay a couple nights but this was a great spot to see Pataua from.

Great stay at the Black and White Suites in Matakana. Location lovely and quiet, yet only minutes to the village with access to shops and restaurants. With a car, lots to see and do in the surroundings. Loved Brick Bay Sculpture Walk (amazing native forest) and Sculpturem also really interesting. Property well described; very comfortable bed and sofa for hanging out. Had small fridge and able to make a coffee or have some toast in the room. Would highly recommend for short stays in the village.

Andrea and Mike were very kind and responsive. The couple run the place rather efficiently and respond to the customers' requests very quickly. We found that the ensuite bathroom was a little smelly and the hosts were trying all their means to eliminate the odour for us and even offered to switch to another available suite for us - surely they care for their customers. Thank you Andrea and Mike, we had a great time at the kohinui cottage! Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, amazing place to be!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David & Linleys. Great location for beach access, the Mediterranean courtyard was more even stunning in person. Great hosts, very thoughtful. We’d love to stay again

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Alysn. The apartment was spotless and we had everything we could think of to have a pleasant stay. Well equipped kitchen and lovely beds. Lots of extra things we could borrow like boogie boards, beach tents, cool bag, beach chairs and towels. We felt very welcome and wish we had more time to spend here. We visited Tawharanui regional park and had a wonderful time doing eco walk and enjoying the beach.

Very kind and friendly hosts, communication is great. They were open to us checking in a little earlier. Those home touches are devine, breakfast and hit drinks provided made us feel at home. Very private accom and our privacy is always respected. We will continue to book with Sue and Murray in the future

Fantastic home away from home. Everything you may need plus more. Location, view and the place was super comfortable. Anne was friendly, charming, kind and outstanding with detail. We will definitely be back! Thanks Anne for an amazing few days.

Madeleine greeted us shortly after arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Madeleine even welcomed my dogs. The checkin was easy. Everything was clean and tidy and easy to find. So quiet, it was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Perfect stay in Matakana. The location is pretty much in the centre of the village, but set well back from the road, so quiet and calm. The unit is very well-appointed, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Elva was an excellent and accommodating host.

My stay was fabulous. The apartment was roomy, clean and the place had all the amenities to include a washing machine. The walk down to the beach at the end of the day was a most welcome way to relax after a busy day at work. Great communication and privacy. I will be back. It's a wonderful stay.

Great stay, stunning view and all the amenities were available

The scenery outside is absolutely picturesque, offering stunning views that bring you full relax and peace. Room is warm and cozy. With other items such as BBQ grill and sayna supplied for use. Jodie and Gary gave timely and precise response and protect privacy. A spot definitely worth return to.

We would highly recommend this calm and tranquil apartment. Jules was so kind from beginning to end. Her place was spotless and perfect for our 5 day stay. She made us feel at home, yet respected our privacy so we had a restful holiday. Easy walk into the village with lots of shops, cafe's and restaurants.

Quiet and peaceful location. Room and balcony have view out over Mangawhai estuary and the sandhills to the sea. Huge private bathroom and a lovely outdoor spa pool. Great breakfast. Lovely place for a night or two away, easy drive from Auckland
