Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

Vacation at Gut Sauerburg

Our manor with our animals: sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli is only 5 km from the A7 / Malsfeld exit & yet in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² lot. Not far from our farm you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandbox/table tennis table …

Living in Waldhessen

Guests has the space to themselves. Five steps lead to the front door. On the ground floor, there is a spacious hallway that connects the shared guest room with access to the terrace, the kitchen, the guest toilet and a bedroom for 3 people. Upstairs there are three other bedrooms with 2 beds each and the bathroom with corner bath and walk-in shower. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen.
