We had a great time. You can do such great things. It's in the middle of nature in a private hot tub - what more could you want cozy and modernly equipped. Great! the kids want to come back in the summer.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious home! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of our stay was definitely the sauna and whirlpool—such a perfect way to unwind. And to top it all off, we were lucky enough to witness the breathtaking northern lights right from the property, which made our stay truly unforgettable. The hosts were responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a magical and relaxing escape!

This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views that was away from other people and private, but not totally remote. This cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. You could see the Northern Lights on clear nights from inside the cabin, with mountains in the foreground. A great place for photography. The log burner was fantastic with an unlimited supply of logs and the WiFi was great. The cabin is in the region of the Lyngen Alps. Siri was an amazing host keeping us updated on conditions in the area when the weather changed. She let us know when there was a high risk of avalanches, when the road had been temporary closed and when there was no water in the whole area due to an avalanche. She told us where there was a collecting point for everyone locally to get fresh water from and arranged for someone to be there for us. The next day all was fine! This is life in Arctic Norway. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

In connection with our project work in the area, it was nice and a perfect opportunity to rent "Ida-hytten" to Christian. The stay during the period has been as expected, despite some unexpected local road closures in the area. This was unproblematic for our workers. The cabin has delivered on all the preferences we have expected, and we will be happy to contact you again if/when the need for accommodation is present again.

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️
