Leigh’s house has unparalleled views of the river estuary. The home is very well appointed and in a secure estate. It’s close enough to moor your boat at the Breede river lodge which is very convenient. We will be back again for sure.

Lovely home on the Breede, great position and wonderful deck and braai area. Everything you need and the use of the SUPs and canoe is a bonus!

We had such a wonderful week at the Breathe cottage. It is so cute and the views over the river were just wonderful. Had coffee in bed looking out over the river and braai in the evening on the stoep watching the sun go down. The house was so well kitted with utensils and everything and more that you might need. We were sad to leave!

Wow, what a place - extremely peaceful, extremely beautiful, perfect for seven of us. They even provided clean drinking water for all of us since the water from the taps wasn’t drinkable. The canoes were also a great bonus. Like others said before, the prepared hot tub was pretty hot when we got in but it was still fun, we just topped it up with some cold water from the hose if it got too hot. All in all, a really wonderful stay!

What a wonderful weekend. It was a hot weekend in Robertson but the Halfway House always felt cool inside. We really enjoyed staying there, everything was perfect. My husband could enjoy playing golf and I enjoyed my time relaxing next to the pool. Will definitely go back again!

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

We enjoyed our stay at the riverside cottage. The accommodation is simple but cozy, with plenty of relaxing spots around. We appreciated the lovely complimentary touches like coffee, tea, milk, butter, bread and water. There was lots of space for the kids to play, which made it even more special. A place full of good memories! I’m not sure is it’s okay but during the braai was lots of smoke in the house, I advise do it outside.

Carla's house is surrounded by beautiful and gorgeous nature. Nice drinking water including much minerals. We enjoyed a full cottage, which is in the open and wild area with mountains. Jacuzzi by fire wood was the first time for me and not so successful to make warm water, but BBQ or Brai was really nice. It was short for one night staying. More than two days will be enough even to have a trekking to waterfall.

Best location in Witsand and enjoyed all the action from harbour infront. Thank you Melanie for the great stay!

We had the best stay at Linden Tree for a wedding. We were so warmly welcomed by Jenni and her husband, and their friendly two dogs. The rooms were stunning with great views and very clean, with everything you need. The location is also great with it being it right in the town but just off the main road too feel immersed in the nature of Napier. Thank you Jenni for being such kind hosts. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I would highly recommend for any single person or couple visiting Swellendam. Even though you are in town you look out across the river and big trees which creates the sense of being on a farm. Bed was very comfortable and flexible check-in.

We had a really great stay, it is a beautiful location with easy access to Montague and Barrydale. Danielle gave us some really great suggestions for things to do in the area. The farm has some nice walks, and the roads are well kept, very accessible for cars, no 4x4 needed. The farm has some very friendly dogs as well. They were kind enough to provide us with wood and a well equipped kitchenette. I highly recommend it.

We really had a relaxing and comfortable stay on the farm. We experienced all sorts of weather from really hot days to stormy chilly nights but through it all we were comfortable at the cottage. We walked the farm roads flat, inspected interesting fynbos, and really just soaked in the views. Sunrises and sunsets were something to write home about, so spectacular. Montague is a short drive away and Barrydale not to far either. Danielle and fam were very welcoming and accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend this cottage.

Danielle was an incredible host. Her place is beautiful and secluded, you really feel like you’re out of the city. The mountain views are breathtaking and there’s so much walking you can do. Danielle was quick to respond and very accommodating even when we had a bit of loadshedding. She’s incredible and I recommend this place. It’s clean, it’s homey. It’s beautiful and the kitchen is stocked with most things you would need.

We would definitely stay here again! The location among the vineyard was really quiet and nice. The cottages are situated close to each other but still private. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom with a rain shower and lots of space. The furniture and beds were comfy and cozy. The braai areas were great and the wood fired hot tub was such a treat. Shout out to Lourens for the wine, he’s clearly a talented winemaker with an excellent sense of the craft and has a bright future as a representative of South Africa’s wine scene on the international stage. Lizelle was a great host and was tolerant of all my questions. The entire territory was quaint and there were two hiking trails and even a canoe and SUP by the river. Book here. You won’t regret it.

Had such a lovely stay. The accommodation was amazing, loved the interior. The location was very easy to find thanks to the directions provided and it was beautifully situated.

Great location and views. The place is comfortable with everything needed as described, it does however need a little TLC and general maintenance on things like loose taps, wonky outside braai (broken wheels), etc

We had such an amazing surprise when we arrived at Berry Guest Farm - Raspberry cottage. We had booked as a last minute break and due to the responsive host had just gone straight ahead without getting too much info. What a treat when we arrived with our 4 children. The farm is a child’s paradise with activities - from amazing zip lines, canoes that are free to use at any time, fishing, waterslides, warm pool, night time child friendly hikes with UV torches… the list goes on, but the plus is that the scenery and nature of the place makes it paradise for adults too. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, and a short distance from nature reserves with hikes, waterfalls, mountain trails and wildlife, well we were just spoilt for choice! We had no idea that the small airbnb we had booked offered all this and we will be sure to return with friends to book a few of the cottages and maybe even camp on the campsite. Note: the campsite was very close to the house but noise wasn’t an issue

The Place was amazing,we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house dog, Daisy, was our favorite guest. We loved the animals surrounding the place and the tastings that we were available close to the property. Would definitely be returning soon❤️

We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

We did not know, that the pond (Ferry) was out of order, so we had another 2 hours on griffle roads to get there. But the conversation was good an finally we arrived. What a wonderful and quiet place. From then on everything was fine. It was a perfect base for starting our hikes. Again, thank you for that wonderful experience.
