We had a great two weeks in Vangelis' villa and enjoyed every minute. Especially great was the view of the Lefka Ori, the great pool with counter-current system and the many different seating options. The house is very lovingly and high-quality equipped and all necessary cooking utensils are available. I'm sure we'll be back.

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect and the host went above and beyond to make it a brilliant holiday. The massages we had at the house on the last morning were the perfect end to a great holiday. The place is up a hill but this was no issue for us. It is close enough for a walk into the old town and 5 mins walk to the best beaches.

Absolutely perfect! Brilliant property and brilliant host. Despina was so lovely, gave us great recommendations and she even left us some food in the fridge for breakfast because of our late flight. She also brought us homemade wine and honey. Property even better than the pictures! Best holiday ever! Thank you!

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!

We had an excellent stay at this Villa. Exactly as described and how it looks in the photos. Villa finished to a really high standard and lovely swimming pool. The villa is also nicely equipped & sone really nice touches from the host, Katerina, with locally grown vegetables & olive oil. Katerina went above and beyond as a host with regular cleaning & towels changes etc and was very supportive when our daughter was involved in an accident (not at the villa!) Would definitely recommend and go back 👍

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

We stayed here for our babymoon and honestly — we couldn’t have imagined a more magical, nourishing, and heartwarming place to spend this special time.. From the moment we arrived, peace settled in. Even more beautiful than the pictures, the house is full of love and thoughtful details. The pool and garden are perfect — calm, private, and deeply relaxing. And the hosts… wow. So warm and generous. They even cooked us a homemade meal when we arrived. We felt not just welcomed, but truly held. Kissamos is a gem, filled with authentic seaside tavernas. We had some of the best meals of our lives here — simple, fresh, and full of soul. This place is a sanctuary. We left feeling nourished, inspired, and grateful. We’ll definitely be back — this home touched our hearts.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It’s located in a small village surrounded by nature. The cottage is perfectly located to explore nearby cities, the beach and plenty of hiking trails. The cottage offers spacious outdoor areas to enjoy meals. We found everything we need in the kitchen and bathroom, well equipped and thoughtfully decorated. Check-in was handled by a neighbor, everything went smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and found fresh fruit, wine and pastry on the table upon our arrival. Dimitra has been very responsive, customer focused and friendly. Communication with her was pleasant. We would have loved to stay longer and would happily come back. Thank you!

It's a dream come true! This place was just perfect – from the amenities to the loving furnishings to the warm hospitality of Ksenia and Giannis. Everything is high-quality, tasteful and designed with so much attention to detail that you feel comfortable and welcome from the first moment. A real highlight was the terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea – waking up in the morning with the sound of the waves, ending the day in the evening with this panorama... priceless! Particularly beautiful was the proximity to the cozy tavern, which is run by the host family. There is the same warm, open atmosphere as in the accommodation. We spent wonderful evenings there with delicious traditional, regional Greek cuisine, live music and a lot of cordiality. A place we think back to with a smile – and a place we definitely want to come back to. A thousand thanks for everything!

What a lovely quiet and relaxed stay we had in kampos. The house has everything we needed and the view was amazing with fantastic sunsets. Thank you Sofia for your warm welcome and good local recommendations. We would love to come back again 😀

We had a lovely stay at Nikos’ place in Rodovani. It’s well off the beaten path and we particularly enjoyed the tranquil setting in a small mountain village on the south coast. Nikos greeted us although we arrived well after midnight. There is a lovely village store right across the town square and good tavernas close by. Plenty of hiking options around and the sea only 15 min away. The house is renovated tastefully and we particularly enjoyed the big terrace overlooking the valley and mountains.

This is the best house we booked on Airbnb. So beautiful, super well equipped, peaceful. Great shower. Fantastic views. Theodosia was great and Michalis, the owner, received us with a big smile, raki and local products. Such a wonderful guy. It's a family run house. They also gave us a farewell gift, typical Cretan food prepared by Michalis mom. Also, a minute away from the house there is a rustic bar on top of the mountain with a view to the ocean called Petroula, named after a donkey which walks freely inside the bar! You can have an ice cold beer and watch the sunset and play with the beautiful dogs and puppies. Totally recommended with eyes closed!

The house is very beautiful, quiet, a few steps from a beach with some umbrellas already on the beach and sunbeds present in the house (maybe an umbrella to carry around would be useful). Vasilis was precious with his advice (we followed them more or less all!), he does everything to make you feel comfortable and is ready to follow the suggestions to improve (shower box absolutely to be repaired and a clothesline is needed, currently the space for laundry is really small, especially for 4) and if a problem arises, he takes action to solve it; thanks also to his dad, for being so patient and diligent in solving some small inconveniences of the moment🙏🏽. The kitchen is comfortable, well-stocked, clean (maybe to add a microwave, but it is not essential). The bed and bath linens are clean and of a good standard... Vasilis, keep doing your best to maintain this wonderful cottage that we have left reluctantly.❤ Thank you again for everything.

A home with a truly breathtaking view. We felt very comfortable. Our two-year-old son also found his way around very well and played with us at the pool, but of course you should always keep an eye on him. Overall, the accommodation looks much more spacious than in the photos and is well equipped. We didn't miss anything. There are even dumbbells for sports and chairs and umbrella for the beach and a potty for children. Communication with Eleni went very well. She always responded quickly and made everything possible. We will be happy to come back.

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

Nice functional little villa, clean and well presented. The neighbourhood is calm and there is an excellent Taverne at 3 minutes walking distance. We didn't go to the near beach but found the location very convenient to visit Balos, Falassarna and Elafonissi beaches. Kassimos is the closest town with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. Overall highly recommend!

If we had to describe this house in one word: wow! What a fantastic place. The house itself, the jacuzzi… everything is correct. If you really want to escape the hustle and bustle, this is definitely a top choice. Within 10 minutes you are at wonderful beach clubs, at nice restaurants or in the nightlife, exactly what you are looking for during a vacation if you ask us. The fruit trees around the house create a sense of calm. Really beautiful! We were genuinely sorry to leave here, but we will definitely come back. Also a big compliment to the owner: what a service! We had forgotten something, and he went out of his way to get it back to us. Thanks again for the great service and the great stay. See you soon! Bennie

The tastefully restored and decorated accommodation is located in the middle of the olive trees next to other houses in the village. The accommodation is spacious with on each side of the house, a very nice terrace. Neighbors are lovely. We were greeted by many cats, as in all of Crete. Communication with Nancy or Kallia was very responsive. We will definitely return to this house for calm, mountain views and proximity to quality shops and restaurants. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house! The view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking — it’s the kind of place where you wake up and just want to sit outside all day soaking it in. The pool was a highlight as well: clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself was spotless and very well taken care of, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Michalis was a wonderful host — always quick to respond and genuinely helpful with local tips and anything we needed. Perfect accommodation – delighted for the second time! We were in this accommodation this year and last year – and again completely satisfied! Everything was super clean and very well maintained. The accommodation is quiet and private, just right for relaxing, but you can still reach all the well-known beaches and the city by car. The hot tub was in top condition like everything else – just ideal to end the day. You're just comfortable. We especially liked the loving details: There were games, fresh fruit, water bottles in the fridge and even coffee – such small gestures make the stay special. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Nowadays, it is rare to be welcomed in an Airbnb like Konstantina’s—with two fresh beers and a jar of water in the fridge, a well-equipped kitchen stocked with olive oil, and plenty of useful local tips. Her place is delightful, the shared patio is very cozy, and the location is both calm and central for exploring the region. Good value for money, I definitely recommend this apartment and the whole experience with Konstantina.
