Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

A full modern suite in a truly unparalleled location! This private, beautifully appointed and self-contained suite at Summit House is situated on our 200 acres property, giving guests an exclusive retreat overlooking scenic Saanich Inlet's fjord. Just 20 mins to Victoria BC. Suite guests can enjoy relaxing in their own private outdoor area, hikes in our forest with 1 km of ocean front, or can simply use Summit House as a base to get out to experience the Malahat and Cowichan Valley surrounds!

Lily's Pad

Escape to a quiet getaway at Lily's Pad. This 28 ft trailer comfortably accommodates one to four persons on a private property nestled in a forested area. A private deck area outside is included for relaxing, cooking, dining and even showering if you choose. Sit around the fire pit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings during your visit here. Great area for walking, hiking and biking enthusiasts but still close to any amenities you may need for shopping. A very comfortable & cozy place to stay!

Oceanus, 30 min to Victoria, 15 min to Langford

Only 30 min from downtown Victoria, Oceanus offers a relaxing retreat/romantic sanctuary. Featuring a king-size bed, a queen-size pullout sofa, and a crib, this garden suite accommodates up to four adults. Oceanus has a full kitchen, equipped with all you need to prepare delicious meals, including a blender, a mixer, and a BBQ grill. Oceanus also offers a full bathroom, free laundry, parking, and fast internet (PureFibre), a cozy yet roomy space, and a private backyard with gorgeous views.

Welcome to our charming cabin. We strive to make this place a home away from home for our guests. Nestled on a 5-acre shared property our cozy home is surrounded by nature, but still near the city. With trails nearby, and some even attached, yet still close to all amenities in Cowichan and Langford, we like to think we have it all here! We are happy to provide guests with all the modern basics you need; plus a hot tub, fire pit, and bbq. We also have baby amenities available upon request.

A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Featuring a wood burning fireplace, classic claw foot tub, comfortable linens and of course an expansive private deck with field views- the perfect place to cozy up and enjoy your local coffee in the morning or local glass of wine after a day on the town.

A private cottage located above Goldstream with a spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains, Mt. Baker, the Pacific Ocean, Victoria and the city lights at night. This slice of paradise is an unforgettable retreat to escape from it all. Wake up to a gorgeous sunrise while you enjoy your morning coffee on the deck. Feel like a swim? Wrigglesworth Lake is within walking distance, as is the Canada Trail for the hikers. One small dog is welcome. Max 25lb. We do not accept cats.
