We spent a very relaxing and quiet week at Cristina's in the "stable" and can only recommend a stay for those seeking peace. Cristina's directions were excellent and communication with her was also excellent. The place had everything you need - it was very cozy. Thank you Cristina. vie

The villa is as it looks in the photos - beautiful and very well appointed. It is clean and has everything you would need in terms of cooking utensils, etc. Simon and Laura were very helpful and proactive, and the instructions were detailed and clear (although the PDF is different to the Air BnB manual, which I think was a little out of date in terms of restaurants etc). Dandini is a little treasure. He's always around and ready to greet you as you get home. He is friendly in his own way. A couple of small drawbacks - firstly, although the villa is nicely private, it is a good 15-20 mins walk to the top of Competa (meaning most restaurants and shops are more like 30 mins away). It is a tricky-ish walk during the day because of the very steep drive, the cars are quite fast, and there is very little shade. At night it is more comfortable but the cars still feel a bit dodgy. Secondly, the pool is not heated but I found it fine once I'd braved getting in! Thank you for the great stay.

This is our second stay at Jasmine Azul. Yet again a lovely holiday with everything we needed. The villa is so homely with great views and amazing outside space. Monica is a great host, always responsive and super friendly. 😎

Lola and Juan Carlos are the best hosts I have ever dealt with. So helpful and always quick to respond to our questions. This property is the best in all of Andalusia! Absolutely beautiful surroundings and centrally located for day trips throughout Southern Spain. Highly recommend!!!

Great spot - close to El Chorro for rock climbing!

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! We had a great stay at the cottage. Thank you, Cat and Peter, you were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. This is a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing among tourists. It is a private guesthouse on the farm with horses and friendly cats and dogs. Views across the valley are stunning. We loved watching the sunset with a glass of wine on the patio. It is a perfect retreat, yet close to places of interest. We made day trips to Seville, Cordoba, Antequera, and nearby villages. The closest town of Villanueva de la Concepcion has decent restaurants and bars, an excellent butcher next door to a well-stocked supermarket with your basic needs and more. The guesthouse was comfortable, rustic, and cosy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The evenings were chilly at the time of year, but the log fireplace was wonderfully cosy and easy to light. On arrival, the welcome bottle of wine, farm fresh eggs, bread, and butter was very thoughtful. Thank you, Cat and Peter. We would stay again.

I found this place because I was looking for a place that could welcome my whole family and spend a few days together, in simplicity, and the house has exactly everything you needed. The house has many amenities for adults and is also designed for children, I never had the feeling that something was missing, I found from the charcoal sharpener for the BBQ. There was a good atmosphere, lots of space well distributed and also a certain care that we all appreciated. See you next time Maria!

We can only speak highly of the circus wagon and hosts. We absolutely loved our time there. We stayed for 3 nights but could have stayed much longer. The surroundings are beautiful, very peaceful and an ideal base for exploring. Really easy drive over to the Caminito Del Rey also. The wagon itself was really well equipped, probably one of the most thoughtfully equipped Airbnb’s we’d ever stayed in! The use of the pool was a huge added bonus and we decided on a few occasions to come back earlier just to get a relaxing laze around the pool in. Andrew and Lea-Ann were brilliant hosts. Really responsive, helpful and respectful. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back

The house is great, it has everything you could possibly need for a large group, such as a barbecue, oven, several refrigerators. Everything was very clean and beautiful, and the pool area is spectacular. We went for a weekend with a group of friends with children and had a great time. Jose Luis was very kind, he answered all our questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

Jennifer's Villa is a fantastic property. Having stayed in private European villas for the past 15 Summers, this one was up there in terms of location and facilities. We like isolation on our holidays and the Villa was indeed far from any crowds, no neighbours overlooking and 15min drive to the nearest small town of Alora - a lovely place for a day out wandering and for tapas or dining as a family in the evening. The Villa itself was extremely well appointed - great sized pool, good sized bedrooms, a really well stocked kitchen with all the kit you could need. As well as a great welcome pack of food and drink, the kitchen was well stocked with things such as herbs/spices, cleaning products, dishwasher and washing liquids which was a lovely bonus. Jennifer was on hand to answer any of our questions as and when, without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very relaxing 2 weeks with fabulous views in a fabulous villa.

Very attentive to our needs, providing everything we need.

One word: Amazing! The view from the Yurt is astonishing and the accommodation itself really feels adventurous. Our kids (age 3 and 5) thoroughly enjoyed all that the accommodation offered: the pool, the trampoline and the wildlife ;) Alora offers nice playgrounda for the kids, while Malage is a short drive away. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for the authentic, Spanish life!

We had a wonderful time and would love to come back in the future. Not all the beds were as comfortable as the ones in the main room, but apart from that we had a great Christmas time and the surroundings are as beautiful as it gets.

Juan was very friendly, helpful and responsive upon arrival. The cottage is situated in very beautiful surroundings, it is also very private to yourself, you’d struggle to not having a relaxing time there, would be somewhere I’d look forward to returning to and highly recommend!

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! although the location is isolated, 20 km from the sea and 12 minutes by car from Alhaurin el Grande, the house offers all the facilities you need for a wonderful stay in a space that makes you feel pampered and not you want to leave there.

We had a great New Year's Eve. The house is very nice and special. The decor, the bar, the garden, the details, the spaces themselves make it unique. Bravo! Mike was really nice to us. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you very much.

Very happy with this beautiful clean apartment, very nice view, also of the sea. Very nice beach clubs within walking distance, beautiful beach. Easy contact and good information from Antonio, easy to check in and out yourself. It is our second time in the area and we definitely want to come back to this accommodation.

We had a great time with the ladies. Spacious bedrooms, very nice swimming pool, little patio for ourselves, very clean and everything needed was there. Great place to stay.
