Vacation rentals with a patio in Makhanda

My husband and I were very happy with our stay at Jillian’s place. It was private peaceful and safe. We felt right at home. This was our second stay there and will be happy to book there again the next time we in Grahamstown.

Exactly what we needed for our Kid's sports tour to Grahamstown! We were out all-day watching school sport but a peaceful retreat after the action-packed days. Private & secure parking in the evenings, so really a wonderful package deal. I / we would certainly return in the future. Thank you, Anne!

We had a very warm, cozy and comfortable stay at Robyn's place during the National Arts Festival which usually finds Makhanda bitterly cold this time of the year. It's situated close to town and within walking distance of many of the venues during the festival. Robyn is a great communicator and always responded immediately when contacted. Thanks for the lovely warm stay and hope we see you again during the NAF.

Central and clean. Decorated very nicely with the most awesome winter sun warming up the lounge.

Michele was a great host, with very friendly and clear communication. The flat is perfectly located and well appointed. It is a perfect place to stay if you are wanting to be centrally located, especially with easy access to any events at St Andrews.

Vanessa's place was fantastic! A warm and homely feeling. Vanessa is also a great host and even let us purchase a book from the bookshelf! I would highly recommend!

Given the high rates in Makhanda, this is a rare find. It’s clean, well-equipped, and perfect for an overnight stay. While not a luxury option, it provides everything you need at a reasonable price.

This place is the one. Definitely recommend it. It's peaceful, easy to access, nature all around and a perfect spot for a retreat with friends and family. We really loved it. Well done Micaela and team.

Very spacious house, loved the large kitchen, very comfortable. Huge lovely garden. It was like home away from home.

it was my first time in Grahamstown, the host was responsive and Bhuti Sigqibo was very helpful. the place is clean & neat and the location is perfect even if you don’t have a car, you get a taxi right in-front of the gate. 👌

Very sweet cottage with a lovely sun room and garden. Host is very responsive and friendly. Special touches such as fresh fruit, chocs on the pillows and hot water bottles for the cold winter nights. We will definitely stay here again :)

The house is very spacious and has beautiful views. The two fireplaces ensured it was lovely and warm. We enjoyed good hikes in the nearby hills. Anne and Stuart were very helpful at all times. The only downside is the dirt road has some terrible potholes and has to be driven carefully.

Christie’s home is fabulous! The photos don’t do it sufficient justice! It’s spacious with a great outside area, aircon in living area and main bedroom and fans in other rooms (essential in summer!). Everything in kitchen that you need. Comfortable beds and lovely linen! And Nancy the housekeeper is a gem! So kind and helpful. Christie was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. This house is perfectly located for any school function as it’s close to everything.
