Wow if you want beautiful, spectacular and peaceful then this is the place. It's amazing and the views are better than the photos. My husband and I loved it so much we didn't want to leave. The interaction with the native wildlife was wonderful. The lodge is very clean and accomodating and has everything that you would need. Susanne and Dave were great hosts and always providing responses really quickly. I can't wait to go back and enjoy a little piece of heaven again.

What an amazing place, the view is spectacular! We wanted a peaceful relaxing weekend away from the city and this place was ideal. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape and unwind.

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for the stay in your beautiful property Susan. We cannot wait to come back.

We loved our stay at Jingella cottage and hope to be back one day. The house was very comfortable and being able to walk to the lovely on-site restaurant was a bonus.

We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

What a beautiful spot. Lavender cottage was perfect for us with little touches that made the difference. The fire pit was ready to go along with marshmallows and prongs to cook them on. Big win with the kids! Hubby and I really appreciated (and enjoyed) the contents of the decanter. After many hours in the car it was a great way to wind down on our first night and definitely encouraged us to grab a few local delights. If I was to nitpick, it would have been nice to have a few more decent bowls for breakfast. First world problems right?

Great place for gateaway with nature surrounding you. Peaceful and relaxing. Host are friendly and helpful. Will definitely try another time when its not wet and vineyard is green.

It’s a great place for relaxing with friends, where is not far from city ,very quiet and peaceful. We very enjoyed the wood fire in the yard and also walked down along greens Rd ,drove around mountains roads and met cute animals.

Staying on the river was paradise. It was beautiful - especially from the deck! My only two suggestions is to share there is no wifi and that the beds are pushed up against a wall. Also, at least for us, there was no data connection. We were able to go into town and use the cafe wifi, but if we had seen in advance (there was a message about no wifi at the bottom of the description), we would have prepared better for working remotely. Also for older people, the beds only allow one person to get out and the other person has a wall they sleep along. Other than these two minor items that can be communicated in the description, the accommodation, the location and all of the extras are excellent. We enjoyed the bbq, the kayaks, the hammock and the firepit. Everything was comfortable and the a/c was helpful sleeping at night when there was a controlled burn. We definitely recommend staying here.

Brilliant stay - highly recommend this place! The house is set in a beautiful secluded spot, where local shops and cafes are only a very short drive away. On arrival we entered this stunning home, which had ample space for 4 adults. The kitchen is much bigger than the photos and newly renovated, as is the bathroom. We were impressed. Outside at the back of the house there is a lovely fire pit - we spent much time here and then inside spending time near the beautiful cozy fireplace. The house has all you need and could comfortably fit the max number specified. If you want a stay in nature with access to Laguna and a short drive to the beautiful Wollombi main town then, this is a spot to choose. We also made a day trip to Polkobin to visit the wineries ! IF you have a pet, this is a great place. We have a small foxie and he was right at home.

We had the most perfect stay! The place was stunning, the outdoor bath under the stars was magical! The staff at Krinklewood were lovely, even let us take a cheese platter from the cellar door home for the night! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing and tranquil place to get away from the noise of the city and refresh

The stay was just delightful. From the beginning Raea & Holly kept us up to date with the local weir crossing and flooding situation that had affected the state over the last week. Their recommendation to use a vehicle that had a bit more grunt than a small car was a game-changer. We had struggles at first accessing the hut - no one was expecting a fallen tree to be blocking driveway access (this was fixed the following morning - thanks Jude!). There were some initial privacy concerns, as the hut sits next to a driveway that leads down to a strange cluster of buildings within view that look like a campground; however, it was apparent after our first night that we were completely alone on the property. Each morning, we were treated to the dappled light through the trees as we awoke to the sounds of birds and a wallaby family grazing near the dining/entrance. The sauna was great, the tub/bathroom was a vibe, walking around the property was magical, and the hut itself is inspirational.

Clean, comfortable and easy! Great place to stay

Our family of 3 had a great stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ben’s place. They are very thoughtful hosts, the place has everything that you could need to have an enjoyable stay. The beds were comfortable and everything in the cabin was VERY clean and modern. Super cool cabin, really loved it! The location was close to Erina fair by car and the neighbourhood was peaceful. Thank you, we would love to come back :-)

We had a wonderfully relaxing Easter weekend at Colo mudbrick cabin. The location was just beautiful on a cliff overlooking the river. Watching the beautiful sunsets with the incredible views was an absolute highlight of our stay. From the outdoors bath, to the perfectly placed benches, and balcony the views were spectacular. The cabin was beautifully decorated throughout with rustic charm. Everything had been carefully thought of to enhance our stay. All the little extras were lovely, chocolates on arrival, marshmallows and hot chocolate, dog toys and treats. We loved discovering all Mud Colo had to offer. We enjoyed the bushwalk to the river below. Taking our paddle boards off the jetty. It was such a peaceful and beautiful location in nature. We would love to return!

A beautiful stay, very peaceful and lovely surroundings. Jill and Martin are lovely hosts and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Hunter region.
