Un vrai coup de cœur. Nous avons adoré cette petite maison décorée avec goût, paisible et confortable. Entre campagne et plages, pleine de zenitude... très bien située à proximité de Vejer de la Frontera, ville blanche très jolie.Joanna et Chris sont très sympathiques et accueillants, nous reviendrons volontiers.

The house is small but cozy, the kitchen has literally everything and the appliances and tools were very well kept. It was super clean, no issues whatsoever. The bathroom is ok, no bidet but no complaints there. There is plenty of space for parking the car or the bike. Location is perfect, just a few minutes walking from Bordeira beach, which is a marvel. A car is needed for moving around. But Carrapateira is a really nice village. One of the best places we've been in Portugal in almost 9 years.

Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen. Sehr ruhig gelegen, absolut privat & perfekt zum entspannen. Mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet & es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Dominic ist eine super freundliche & engagierte Gastgeberin.

We had a wonderful stay (2.5 weeks) in the Loft and can highly recommend it! Close to beaches and kitespots, surrounded by lush nature, peaceful, clean, well equipped, beautifully furnished and with great hosts! Away from the buzz of Tarifa, but still only a 10minutes drive. Thanks Daniela & Marc, also for the fantastic kite and region insights!

An unforgettable stay — a true hidden gem! We had the most amazing time at Margaret’s place. From the moment we arrived, she struck the perfect balance between being incredibly warm and welcoming—offering us great local advice and checking in on how our days were going—while still giving us plenty of space to relax and unwind. The home was exactly as described, but with a dose of rustic charm that photos can’t capture. It was perfect, cozy & full of character. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning & the town nearby was something out of a dream—complete with a beautiful spa & fantastic restaurant within walking distance, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. The pool was crystal clear & her pets (both dogs and cats) added such a lovely, homely touch to the stay. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more. Truthfully, we’re almost hesitant to write this review because it feels like sharing a well-kept secret. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!x

Talurdo Retreat is the perfect place if you are in need of peace and tranquility in beautiful zen garden oases surrounded by Algarves majestic mountains. We went horsebackriding with Chris, kayaking in Pego Escuro and hiking - always acompanied by their lovely dogs. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Simona’s casita was a perfect location for us - we like to walk but also like to be removed from crowds. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk down to the beach, and about a 50 minute uphill walk to the village. The outdoor areas at Simona’s are absolutely exceptional and our stay was very relaxed. Perfect for a couple, and we would definitely stay here again.

Carla is not only a wonderful host but also a genuinely kind person who made us feel completely at home from check-in to check-out. She provided fantastic local recommendations, from restaurants to day trips, and always had thoughtful tips to share. The pool was a standout — crystal clear, with stunning views and a tranquil setting that felt like a private oasis. The location is perfect if you’re looking to unwind away from the bustle while still being within easy reach of Parikia and Naoussa. Plus, with Pounda port just 10 minutes away, hopping over to Antiparos for a day or dinner was a breeze (the ferry takes only 5 minutes). We couldn’t recommend this place more — it truly made our Paros experience unforgettable.

Zum Abschluss unserer Sizilien-Reise haben wir zwei Nächte im charmanten Rustico von Catherine verbracht. Das Anwesen liegt herrlich abgeschieden auf einem weitläufigen Grundstück — ein idealer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den selbst gebackenen Apfelkuchen bei der Ankunft. Das hauseigene Olivenöl war so gut, dass wir uns gleich einen Vorrat mitgenommen haben. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt — schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten!

One of the most unique places I've ever stayed at – a beautiful spot in a remote, peaceful, and stunning valley. The guest unit is even more magical than it looks in the photos. While the access to the house is not the easiest (as described in other comments), the level of hospitality is top-notch - from the construction and facilities to the coffee machine provided in the unit, with attention to every detail you’d hope for in a vacation home. The team taking care of the place and the guests was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The neighbors living near the unit, who share their kitchen with guests, are an incredibly kind and generous couple - it was a pleasure to get to know them. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special experience in the heart of nature.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour avec mon conjoint. Le gîte est sécurisé avec des gardiens à l’entrée ce qui est très rassurant. Notre lodge était propre et décoré avec goût. Il manquerait toutefois un petit frigo dans la chambre qui pourrait être pratique pour stocker des boissons au frais. Nos échanges avec Rachida ont toujours été agréables. Notre hôte a été une personne très amicale ainsi que tout le personnel. La cuisine au gîte était délicieuse. Je note tout de même un point négatif concernant la piscine qui n’est malheureusement pas entretenue et non fidèle aux photos. Au global ce fut un séjour très réussi et je recommande cette adresse. Merci.

A peaceful stay in the mountains with a beautiful view. Each morning waking up to the sun slowly rising with the sound of birds was magical. Each evening on the colder days we enjoyed the warm and crackling fireplace (our stay was in April). The place has everything you need and more. Ellen and Andy have put a lot of love and hard work into the details of the property. They’re responsive and helpful, preempting our needs and kindly offering help. Andy even assisted in our fire building mission so we could bbq. We loved their sweet dogs and kitty (Carlos) who came to say hello. The location of the property is great for exploring the area and wider region. Lots of lovely things to do and see nearby and within an hour or so plenty special places to discover.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal auf Madeira und haben 9 Tage in der schönen Wohnung von Ana gelebt. Ana ist eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeberin, sie wohnt im gleichen Haus über der Wohnung. Ihre Nichte Beatriz - mit der die Kommunikation per Telefon lief - war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, sollte etwas sein. Die Wohnung liegt herrlich mit Rundumblick, der wunderbar ist. Alles war vorhanden, super ausgestattet, alles sehr sauber, der Außenbereich sehr schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und danken Ana und Beatriz noch einmal für ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Die Unterkunft befand sich in einem tadellosen Zustand. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Schöne überdachte Terrasse mit Privatsphäre in einem kleinen Garten. Sehr bequeme Betten und ein modernes Badezimmer. Yenny war sehr zuvorkommend und stets erreichbar. Absolute Empfehlung.

We had a wonderful stay at the Casita, the place instantly relaxes you. Both Raymond and Rebecca were lovely and made us feel right at home. The views and surrounding nature are spectacular and it's wonderful to be able to use the pool, BBQ and hammocks during the stay. The property itself has that great combo of a lovely rustic charm but modern amenities, plenty of hot water, AC, dishwasher etc.

Wir haben 10 Tage bei Cynthia und Carlos verbracht. Die beiden und ihre Kinder sind einfach wunderbare Menschen. Carlos war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns u.a. sehr geholfen, als wir am ersten Tag in Puerto de la Cruz bestohlen wurden. Das Haus liegt in den Bergen mit einer fantastischen Aussicht. Die Anfahrt ist beim ersten Mal etwas abenteuerlich, aber spektakulär. Das Holzhaus ist wie beschrieben und unsere Kinder haben sich jeden Morgen riesig über den Besuch der Hühner auf der Terrasse sowie die frischen Eier gefreut. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

Toni is a great host: detail-oriented, proactive, warm, friendly and attentive. The studio is perfect and very well located and close enough to the two main cities on Paros island, while enjoying very quiet nights away from the night life. A rental car or quad is required. Lovely beaches only a few minutes away, lots of coffee shops and bakeries… Toni is very knowledgeable about the area and has many great recommendations to offer. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely return!

The flat is well equipped and the interior is very stylish. Anne Marie is a great host and was very helpful to get the most of our trip. I highly recommend this place. Thanks a lot.

Super séjour chez Frank! Sa femme et ses filles ont été très accueillantes. Le logement était super et correspondait à nos attentes. Le rooftop pour regarder les étoiles était un vrai plus. Nous avons adoré la compagnie des animaux☺️ Petit bémol pour la douche, compliqué de régler la température de l’eau.

The place is on a perfect spot with view to among other Sikinos to the left and Sifnos to the right and in the middle the little island Despotiko . The beach is just a few hundred meters away and very secluded. You can here the waves from the house. There is a very nice fish tavern nearby where you can look over to Despotiko and se the excavation and a temple emerging. Will this one day be bigger than Delos? The flat is very tastful with very comfortable bed as well as charming outdoor area. Dafni is architect you can tell. The place is very peacful yet short way to the Antiparos town with lot of cafees and resturants. Many thanks to Angelos and Dafni for excellent service and beeing so kind hosts.
