We loved our stay at Jayme and Sean's home. A beautiful, spacious place to stay tucked away in the woods. The house has so much to offer. -sofa was very relaxing -beds were very comfortable -kitchen had plenty of space to cook -beautiful back patio -just a 20min drive down the mountain to get to lots of restaurants Would highly recommend staying here! it was the perfect location for exploring all over VA.

We loved this home so much! It was very clean and spacious! We cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner and had everything we needed! The furniture was clean and soft to sit in. There was so much natural light which I loved. A huge bonus was the washer and dryer! THANK YOU! This house is absolutely perfect for family and friends to get together. Everyone from age 12-45 loved the beautiful bath tub upstairs! What a gem! After looking at some previous reviews, they now have a hand rail going down stairs, which looks like it’s been there since the beginning! Great workmanship! The air temperature was also perfect, especially in the master bedroom downstairs. Loved the huge mirrors for getting ready too! We will definitely be coming back!

We loved the attention to detail that Danielle gave with our particular stay. We were there for a graduation and she included a grad balloon and we also had dogs and she provided a little goodie bag for them and dog bowls, etc. Nice touches!

This is the second time we rented this location. We enjoy the neighborhood along with the fenced in backyard. We needed a few supplies and they were delivered within a few hours. Very responsive hosts. Will rent again.

Amy and Gareth made sure to think about every detail. They made sure that the purpose of our trip was celebrated. Amy provided a list of local recommendations and it was so helpful! The aesthetics of the house is also so natural and relaxing. There was no need to stress out about anything because the house came fully equipped. The walking path down to the river was also so beautiful! We cannot thank them enough for such a memorable time!

Absolutely loved this place! Great trails close by, friendly neighborhood. The home was sparkling clean; check in was extremely easy. I will definitely recommend this home and will be there again!

The back deck makes this house worth every penny. The house is great, big bedrooms, comfy beds and everything’s clean. About 30 mins to Roanoke and 40 mins to Lynchburg. A short 10 min drive or less to Smith Mountain Lake. Definitely recommend this place.

Susie’s place was PERFECT for my weekend of solitude and peace. I was able to relax and just take it easy in a comfortable home with a beautiful view. The home was clean and felt so comfortable. There were lots of personal touches that really show Susie put a lot of thought into the space. For example, the motion sensor nightlights in the bathrooms. And the dimmable lights in the bedroom. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and easy to follow, she even included a map of where to park! I can’t say enough great things about this experience.

We had a great stay! We arrived late and were so excited and surprised to see the pool that was right across the parking lot. The next day we realized it was closed for repairs but Kathryn was very quick to respond and was able to grant us access to the resort pool. Birthday weekend for the kiddo was saved! We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the market and pool, even the restaurants at the resort.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nice & quiet, listening nature on the porch and using the hot tub was a couple of our favorites.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Great stay! Perfect location and space was great. A tad smaller than what it looked like in the photos, but overall, great! The kitchen did not have any pantry space, but we made do with a shelf above the microwave and bins on top of the fridge. A day prior to check-in, I received an email stating the pool in the complex was closed for repairs. A bit disappointed at first, but it ended up working out really well. We had access to the SPA indoor and outdoor pools and the outdoors ended up being too cold to swim in. The indoor pool was no problem at all and they were very accommodating with lettings us have access throughout our stay. We would stay here again for sure!

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly nice, responsive, and personable; they made us feel genuinely welcomed from the start. Communication was easy, and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell they really care about their guests. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place with a personal touch!

We had the good fortune of staying at Mary Catherine's place, and even though it was just for one day, I’ve never felt so relaxed. The house is absolutely stunning, offering a variety of thoughtful amenities and clear, easy-to-follow instructions to enjoy them all. The view is truly breathtaking—you can admire the mountains while listening to the peaceful sounds of birds and local wildlife. If I ever find myself in the area again, I would absolutely hope to stay longer. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I was in Lynchburg for a quick business trip, so I didn't spend a lot of time in the Airbnb, but it was great for my needs!

We loved staying at Cedars Rest! It was the most perfect property, extremely quiet. Safe location, easily accessible to local places - winery, wedding venues, etc. thank you for a great weekend getaway!!

What a wonderful and charming stay. If you’re an animal person this place is for you! You can watch the sunrise and say hello to horses and bunnies. Clean and comfortable, this place exceeded my expectations.

A wonderfully romantic getaway with space for 2 and a pup. The sunrise coming in over the mountaintops and greenery made for a storybook morning. Would stay again!

It rained the entire stay. While we had expected better weather, you cannot beat the windows and the sound of the rain on the roof, for a great getaway atmosphere. We loved it.

If you’re looking for a little slice of heaven, this will give it to you. They were both so great very helpful, there was no noisiness, and it was just a great experience. I’m not writing a negative review and I still think they are five stars I would give them 10 if I could - I didn’t realize there wasn’t a sink in the kitchen, so that was a drawback, but we just used the sink in the bathroom.
