House vacation rentals in Madison County

Kazeem was very communicative and helpful with questions about the place. It was accurate in what you are getting, but I would say the price is a little too high per night. It does have a pool but it wasn’t heated, so just know that if you are interested in swimming. Otherwise it was close to the Main Street of Muncie to amenities.

Javier was place was just as expected. Javier answered any questions or addressed concerns immediately.

This was our second stay at this home. The location is ideal for us while visiting our granddaughter during the holidays. This home is spacious and maintained so well that we did not even consider staying anywhere else. The host reached out to us before our arrival and ensured we had all the information we needed. Once again, we had a wonderful stay without any incidents requiring us to contact the host. Beautiful home away from our own home.

Kris’s place is really special and makes for a memorable stay. I don’t know how she does it but her maximalist interior design all works perfectly together. Things are joyful and fun and you constantly discover new things. Master bedroom bed was quite comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at the Sleeping Bulldog. We were in for a convention at Ball State, and didn't spend much time there until the end of the week. The older boys absolutely loved having their "own" sleeping quarters in the pool house. Of course the pool and hot tub were a hit. We are a cooking family and the kitchen has everything you need to fix big meals. Jessica communicated very well all week long. I am a plant lover and the landscaping at the house is beautiful and it is a nice, quiet neighborhood to enjoy a walk looking at the big trees and landscapiing.

The Hidden Oasis was the perfect place for our family to stay when we visited Indiana for the Taylor Swift concert! It was close to downtown and included a beautiful drive in and out of the area. The home had all the amenities we could ask for to make the weekend special. Everything was clean, and the host paid special attention to all the details, including warm blankets to wrap around yourself while sitting on the enclosed sun porch. The pool, hot tub, and backyard are gorgeous! The home was perfect in every way and the host was always available and quick to answer our questions. Thank you so much Hidden Oasis!

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle’s home. She responded immediately to any questions we had and was helpful. Her home is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Historic 8th Carriage House! This was our second stay in this Air BnB. It is clean, nicely decorated, and very well-maintained. We had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Communication with Michelle was excellent—she was responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout. We were in town for my son’s wedding, and it was the perfect home base for such a special occasion. We also rented her other properties for some of the wedding property which were just as nice. Highly recommend!

It is hard to stay away from home unexpectedly. It helped a lot to have an understanding and flexible host. House was very clean and comfortable.

This is truly a 5 star rental. Owners went above and beyond to provide a seamless experience. Would absolutely recommend the house and would definitely stay again when in town.

Our stay at the Funhouse was perfect! Another host canceled on us just a week before the Indy500, and we are so thankful we found this house! The funhouse room (converted garage) was the ideal place for the adult to lounge and watch sports while the kids played. The main house is beautiful and spacious. Would be a great place for a small family reunion!

Claudia was a great host and was very responsive with all my questions. Some things that stood out were, the cleanliness (particularly the bathrooms), well stocked games, the beautiful artwork, comfy beds, and well done kitchen. The laundry room was a nice addition where we put the pack'n'play. Before I write this next part I want to make it clear that I'm not trying to complain but merely point it out. Something I wasn't prepared for was the run down neighborhood (which I found out was due to the plant closing unfortunately) and busyness of 8th St. Once we spent the weekend there however, the first concern wasn't an issue. The walk to the river and blue bridge was peaceful and the neighbors were nice. Overall our stay was very enjoyable, with laughter and fun throughout our stay. We were a big family of all ages and the house fit us well enough. You can tell a lot of love and care was put into this cozy cottage. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Anderson again!
