Monthly Rentals in Madeira

We were in for a conference and not at the house much. Sleep was important and we were grateful for comfortable beds. Would stay again. Great little house!

The apartment and its location were excellent. Spacious inside. Hardwood floors in living/dining area. Peaceful balcony (I stayed on the second floor). The bedroom was my favorite--comfortable bed and cozy environment. Beautiful, quiet street--as advertised. You are located near the police and fire stations, so you hear sirens periodically. The hosts were superb. They responded quickly and effectively to all questions. They were flexible and understanding. I would consider staying here again Only issue is parking, as noted in other reviews. You will share a garage with the other tenant, but it is difficult for both cars to fit. There is parking along the neighborhood street, though spots may be filled depending on time of day. (I was lucky as the other tenant parked exclusively on the street). This unpredictability in terms of parking is the only hiccup for an otherwise outstanding living experience.

Number 9 was very comfortable. I had to learn how to use the portable AC units during my summertime stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Aveling responded quickly to any questions or concerns.  There are covered parking spots in the back or street parking. It is on a side street in a very nice walkable neighborhood. The neighborhood is very hilly with some steep inclines. There are restaurants, convenience stores (UDF), and coffee shops within walking distance in two directions. 

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. We specifically chose this home for the first floor bedroom as we were traveling with elderly parents. The home was immaculately clean and the bathrooms were generously stocked with essentials that make traveling a breeze when you don’t have to pack soaps, shampoos, make up wipes, hair dryers….. There were seven of us and the home was plenty big and we were able to enjoy all our meals around the large dining table. I loved how well the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans to prepare all our meals. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly.
