David's House of Erji

This beautiful farmhouse is located in the middle of Gyimes, the locals are known as the house of David Erzsi, and the door was always open to guests from afar. The house was drifted to sleep for a while, but now, its door is open again. Aunt Erzsi's heritage was an important aspect, so we paid attention to the preservation of the old world during the renovation, taking into account the comfort needs of today. This house is the starting point for exploring Csángó land, with easy access to both local and surrounding attractions.

Delightful 3-room barn with indoor fireplace

Our over a hundred-year old converted Transylvanian barn provides silent environment in a small, rural village of the Csík-basin in the Eastern Carpathians. You can enjoy our garden by having a barbecue or just spending a relaxing hour in the swing chair. The interieur is furnished with items from the old house, others were collected from the surrounding villages. You find a tasteful combination of old & modern, a great escape from busy town-life for couples, families or groups of friends.

An outdoor relaxation area features a round wooden hot tub and a barrel sauna, both crafted from natural wood. The seating is arranged nearby, with pathways and a gravel base underfoot. Surrounding trees provide a subtle backdrop, complementing the peaceful environment.

Cabană primitoare și bine dotată lângă Lacul Zetea (Harghita). Se închiriază la cheie pentru a petrece clipe minunate împreună cu familia sau/și prietenii. Vă puteți relaxa în ciubărul pus la dispozitie, după care puteți continua cu o saună fierbinte. Puteți pescui în Lacul Zetea (150 metri de proprietate), iar drumețiile prin pădure pot începe de lângă cabană. În apropiere puteți hoinări pe Vârful Harghita, călări la manejul de cai din Ivo sau urca la superba cascadă din cochetul sat Vârșag.

The house is situated 5 km from Zetelaka (Zetea) and 15 km from Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), near the forest. It is a 2500 sqm land included, it is a small river near the house, and the Zetelaka Gát Lake is 5 km from the house. It's 20 km from Madarasi Hargita (Harghita Madaras mountain, 1801 m), and it's possible to get there in 25-30 minutes by car.

Our tiny house is ideal for a couple or for a small family to rest in a traditional szekely (sekler) environment . You can enjoy the sounds of birds or the fire crackles , you can take a walk or ride a bike in the nature. The nearest city is Csikszereda (Miercurea Ciuc , 14 km ) where you can do other activities. We have free parking in backyard and fireplace for grill and a large garden to hang around.

The house lies at the foot of the Carpathian mountains, close to the Natura 2000 protected area. It has a quiet, natural setting at the edge of a small transilvanian village. It is very comfortable for one or two adults, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with young kids). For four adults it might be tight. Around it is a big garden with a fruit-orchard and a small creek.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Close to the Zetea barrage (3km) surrounded by forests and hills and crossed by Sikaszo brook. Don't worry about the road we are close to the main road also. The hot tube is an extra service and must be paied separate.

we had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this property. One of the highlights was getting to ride Icelandic horses- an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone staying here. The host was very responsive and helpful. The only downside was the Phone signal in the area was quite weak but it didn't take away from the overall tranquility of the experience.

A huge house in a tranquil village surrounded by pine forests with very nice hosts. The house had everything, huge bathroom, hot water, the kitchen is fantastically equipped, you can cook, there is a coffee machine. The hosts were waiting in person, even though we arrived at night, the welcome was very welcoming. There was also a grill outside, so we could bake mic and fish. In the garden next door, there were cows and wonderful tranquility in the village. There is a small mountain chapel 200m away, which is worth the ride, because it has very nice shingles. For breakfast coffee, you can go up to the hillside in the garden and watch the Gyimesi landscape from there. Place 10/10, Hospitality 10/10, House 10/10. One of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful place we've ever been. Thank you!
