Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madagascar

Sainte Marie is an amazing place. The house was great. We arrived on the ferry and we were picked up straight at the harbour and taken to the house. The caretakers were super helpful and friendly. It's only a minutes walk to main road where you easily be picked up by a passing TukTuk. There were 7 of us and it was perfect. I would recommend this place for a family or a group of friends.

What an experience! You aren’t just booking a place to stay. From the moment you land at the airport, the team is there to meet you and take care of you. Jimmy, the driver, is an expert at navigating the challenging roads. Angelo, the manager, is an absolute pro and takes note of everything you like/dislike and builds every day/activity to suit you without prompting. Just seamless and fantastic. Katrina keeps the house spotless, makes amazing cocktails and greets you from a long ride with a cold face towel. Antonio makes the kitchen run smoothly. Loris was our top guy as he speaks flawless English and is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He is also the chef and plans each 3 course meal to perfection. It’s really gourmet cooking - without exaggeration. -they have starlink internet - we chose to go on excursions from the house each day. It felt like I was staying in the artist's home, the decoration was very stylish, the atmosphere of the whole yard was very good, and the host was very nice and communicative

The villa is superb, a little off-center from Ampefy, but guarantees perfect calm. Very clean, well appointed, all the comfort you need. The on-site team is excellent, very available, fluid communication. We'll be happy to go back!

The house and location are exceptional, we had a dream stay. Be careful, it is very difficult to leave this little corner of paradise and tranquility. Quick access to the charming little nearby village in 5 minutes on foot. Delivery of fish, squid and fresh crabs almost every morning at the foot of the house. Great place!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic week at Samson’s house. It has a splendid view over the ocean and the mountains and is a short walk to the beach. The house is comfortable and spacious with two good bathrooms and plenty of living space. Samson was very responsive, the place was kept spotlessly clean, and Mighy, the local manager was very helpful. We’d love to stay there again!

We had a great family holiday here! Safe for the children. Hired a scooter and toured the island. Hired a boat ride and went snorkelling at a nearby sand island. And we bought fresh catch of the day at the fence by the seaside which was cooked to perfection by the lady who looked after the house. Outstanding value and I would do it all again!

Beautiful villa in a heavenly place. Excellent staff. Anna the cook and Romuald our tutuk are exceptional people for their services and kindness. We recommend eyes closed .

A great setting, welcoming hosts and good tips Nevertheless, we have seen the absence of certain necessary amenities however mentioned in the announcement but which diverge with reality Had a great stay overall, we'll be back!

Very beautiful villa by the beach , very well maintained by the young housekeeper , a discreet person of high quality , there are two large air-conditioned bedrooms, with bathroom each, a safe in one of them, a pretty tropical garden, direct access to the sea through the garden, good internet connection, villa secured by roller shutters, you can reach the touching villages of Dar es Salam, Madirokely and Ambotoloaka, either by the beach or by the favela style alleys that leave from the back of the house, with a little habit, you can quickly learn how to find your way around, you can also feed the very hungry dogs and cats of the neighborhood. It's just missing an electric group for everything to be perfect.

There are two second floor and two first floor apartments. We stayed in one of the second floor apartments, which have kitchens (the first floor ones do not). Everything we needed to cook was there. There is a restaurant just up the road that you can call or text that delivers if you don't want to cook. The photos are accurate. The room was cozy and comfortable and spacious enough although the bathroom is bit small. The view was fantastic from the large porch. The porch of the two second floor apartments is shared, but there is a divider so you have complete privacy. The beach is long and cresent shaped great for walking. There is a surfing school right next door if you'd like to try. The instructor is a Malagasy man named Joe. Very friendly. Lydie, the manager, was one of the best parts of our visit. She is amazing! So friendly and helpful! She went out of her way to make us feel at home. She's a gem! Definitely a place that I would like to return to.
