We enjoyed our stay so much we didnt want to leave! Pam and Jim were so welcoming, meeting us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. All the comforts of home away from home which was greatly appreciated as we enjoyed a longer stay. Pam decorated the property beautifully since we were staying over Christmas, including a tree. The property is beautiful, peaceful and private yet close to town for shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thanks Pam and Jim!

I honestly don’t know what was the best part, the property/house, or Jim and Pam. They greeted us as we got there and showed us around and made everything a breeze! My 2 year old daughter keeps asking if we can go back to “Grandma’s House.” It was absolutely breathtaking. We are already planning our next trip out there ❤️

Public spaces were outstanding. Loved the library, a great place to unwind. Delicious breakfasts and the dining room was beautiful. We plan to go back.

We had a wonderful stay in Highlands! The space was cozy, and super well thought out. We liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but being able to get there quickly. I’d definitely recommend this spot!

Chris is extremely friendly and giving you a feeling of belonging. We had great time a I’m definitely going to use her facilities again!

Great weekend getaway in the mountains! Location is just a short drive from downtown Highlands. Beautiful cabin and hospitality!

We absolutely loved our time at Fire and Water. We stayed in the Hemlock cabin which was extremely clean and well appointed. Hiram and Matthew were excellent hosts. The place was the perfect blend of upscale and laid back. The grounds are gorgeous and picturesque. The restaurant is stunning with beautiful views and artwork. One evening, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Even our dog had a wonderful time and loved country living. Short and beautiful ride to the Highlands. Being out of the Highlands bustle made for an ideal and relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Breakfast on the porch swing waiting to see the horses come by was the highlight of my mornings. We had a great time!

Maggie’s home is one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. It was such a well designed and thoughtful home. There were many wonderful touches and amenities you could tell there was a lot of pride put into the home. We slept so well on the bed and they even had a special surprise for us upon arrival. The property and surrounding areas are so beautiful. All the farm animals were so cute. I’d love to return back to Maggie’s home in the future.

I purchased a couple nights here for my daughter and her girls and husband. They thought the place was beautiful and magical and enjoyed quality and quiet family time here. Thank you for making it more special with the animal feedings and the Easter egg hunt. 😊

Exactly like described and shown in pictures! We went during the holidays and it was so sweet that they decorated the house for the holidays! Very quiet on the outside, clean on the inside. It was a 15 mins drive to Bryson city where our polar express ride was from. Couldn’t ask for a better holiday home!

A gorgeous home, nestled in the valley with the most responsive hosts! Any questions I had were immediately answered, and even with the storm rolling through I never felt more safe. Will definitely book again!

Our choice was a typical motel room in Franklin, or Kristiana’s cottage. So glad we chose the cottage. Quiet and calm. No comparison coming home to a more spacious place where we could sit on the couch and watch a movie vs an uncomfortable motel bed. We had fun visiting the gem mines that are only a couple of miles from the cottage. Exactly what we needed.

I can’t rave enough about this place! It was immaculate and we had everything we needed and more! Everything was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations! Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had and was simply the best! We absolutely loved everything about it. We were there to say goodbye to a family member and we couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating host and restful place to stay.

Second time coming and staying at this place. Beautiful relaxing and I actually got engaged to my girlfriend on this trip!! Which made the stay that much more special!

My stay at Alice’s White Bunny Cottage was enchanting! The Enchanted Forest at the Magical Mountain resorts does not disappoint! My stay was in fact magical and enchanting! What I loved most was the sound of the constant flow of the creek in front of Alice’s White Bunny Cottage. It is the first on the right as you pass the bridge over the creek. The attention-to-detail Shannon and Nicole put to this incredible stay is astounding! I arrived before sunrise and loved the scenery of the path towards the porch accessorized by moss, lighting and mushrooms along with everything! Wake up to coffee on your porch and view of the river. Don’t forget to visit the petting zoo! Shannon is very kind and has ponies, goats, a donkey, pigs and even a pair of Argentine Patagonian Mara! I went hiking at the Fires Creek Recreation at the Nantahala National Forest. I did want to go to the Dry Falls but was too tired to drive there! I highly recommend this stay. It is a 10/10. Solo trip, couples or family!

Amazing getaway in the smoky mountains! Only 30 minutes from Cherokee and Harrahs and about 40 minutes or so to great smoky mountains Park. Very secluded property and beautiful view. Awesome spot.

Spent two weeks at Evolve with my wife and small dog. The place has a perfect location in beautiful downtown Highlands, close to Main St. But secluded by tranquil Harris lake. Host Chris was very responsive and respectful of our privacy. Great ambience and amenities. Will definitely be back on next trip.

This is definitely a place we plan to revisit. Debbie and Doug were friendly, accommodating, and their place was perfect! Quiet, clean, and what a beautiful view. Honestly, it felt like a true home away from home. Five stars because you don't have 10 as an option!

amazing place! I got sick the next day, but the view and peacefulness of the place was so healing and relaxing that I was ready to travel home in just a few days. hate I had to cut stay short but medically necessary. I will be back to Nathan's place one day so that I can truly enjoy and experience the area. if you love peace and solitude, this is the place for you!!!!!

We spent our family Christmas vacation at Linda's Cabin, and it couldn't have gone any better. We have 4 children ages 2-5 and this place was more than ready to accommodate. With the endless games and family activities to use at the cabin, this was a perfect trip. The Cabin is nestled perfectly in a private setting with absolutely beautiful views (deer and turkey had daily visits to the field across the road). Not to mention the sound of the mountain stream flowing filled the night air as we enjoyed fires in the outdoor firepit. We cannot say enough how pleasant it was to leave our daily lives behind and truly enjoy our family time together staying at your cabin. Thank you! We look forward to staying again REAL soon!!

This tiny home was the most adorable place. It is located on a animal sanctuary. The owners put corn out for the wild animals everyday so when you wake first thing in the morning you will see deer, racoons, all the wild animals. It was a very relaxing peaceful stay. We will visit again!!
