One-room apartment, equipped with everything you need and with a large balcony and beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Free parking on the premises of the residential complex. Stefano was always available for questions and always friendly and accommodating.

We are a family with two kids (age 11 and 14) and we had a wonderful stay at Petra's place. The apartment is very well located. Within 3-5 min by walk are top restaurants, an excellent bakery, a supermarket, as well as public transports. Yet the place is very quiet. The apartment is conveniently located for both hiking (there are even trailheads at a few hundreds meters) and river activities. The apartment was sparkling clean, we felt right at home. Petra and Andrea are nice hosts, providing lots of useful tips (food, activities) but respect your privacy. They live on the ground floor. Definitely recommended! We would come back without hesitation.

The apartment is perfect and the view from the balcony is stunning! Such a beautiful town and Stefano was a great host - I definitely recommend this apartment as a place to stay when visiting lake como :)

We loved being able to sit on the balcony enjoying the view of the lake. Mattia made us fell at home and quickly responded to any request we had. We would stay here again.

After a long day of traveling Judith met us at the apartment. She was absolutely one of the most welcoming hosts I have ever met. She gave us the full tour of the apartment and showed us how to use everything. She had a beautiful plate of strawberries and cookies waiting for us. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well appointed for anything you could possibly want or need. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in while away from home. Judith had 4 different ways to make coffee including a little espresso machine. She made us dinner reservations and sent recommendations on where to go and what to see. We all loved her! The sunsets from the balcony were stunning. The little town of Ispra was so lovely to walk around and peacefully after days spent exploring crowded areas. Ispra feels like “real” Italy.

Very nice place, well decorated and a great view of the lake. The garden was serene and an excellent spot for some wine and a book. General note about the area- it is not easy to access without a car. There is a bus but during busy season seemed unreliable / at max capacity and didn’t run as frequently as we would have assumed. The little town itself was perfect and quaint but if you are trying to spend a decent amount of time exploring como and the other major areas it might be a bit logistically difficult.

If I could give it 10 stars I would!! The view is stunning, the flat is right on the lake and has everything you need. Betty goes up and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable!! She has thought of everything! The place was stocked with water, coffee, snacks and breakfast items and made it so easy on us. There are many small touches like shelf’s in the bedrooms, QR codes to access things and so many more that make everything easy. The parking space worked great and she met us there and even insisted on helping with luggage. I cannot say enough about the kindness of Betty and Markus!! She gave great recommendations. There is a beach here and they provided wet shoes and beach towels for swimming. And a covered area with nice chairs to lounge by the beach! The patio was awesome, overlooking the lake and where we loved to have our morning coffee! Only regret is that I wish we could stay a week. Highly recommend! Would love to come back! Thank you Betty and Markus for a perfect 3 days!

Beautiful apartment with magnificent view This apartment is very airy, with lots of big doors that open to fresh lake air. The views from the apartment is stunning. It is very clean and beautiful, with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and all the amenities including washing machine. There is reserved car park next to the apartment building. Lenno is a very small town and peaceful compared to Bellagio or Varenna, and we prefer it. Practical advise - there is ferry terminal close to our building but the ferry is very infrequent, so you must plan your trip with precision (we did not use it though). We drove to Cadenabbia (7-10 mins) as it has more ferries there but parking is almost impossible to get. If you can hire motorbike (Vespa) is better. Sabrina our host is very responsive and very helpful with all our needs. We would love to come back.

Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

This beautiful rustico is perfect! It is ideal for families as it is in a fantastic environment and also very easily accessible by car. Julian is a great host. Check-in was very easy and perfectly described. Thank you for everything, we look forward to our next visit!

Would recommend this spot - you are right in the middle of the busy waterfront! We loved - location (next to where we rented a boat, literally next to the funicular (this is busy frequently so we were able to watch as the line became more manageable) located just steps away from the Airbnb, VERY close to train station, very close to a supermarket, kids loved the hot tub. The host is so responsive and friendly, loved him. We received a welcome bottle of wine which was nice, thank you!! Only minus - (this was NOT terrible) but there is construction next door and they begin early (8am) which woke me up but no one else in the home. The ants, there are some ants that live in the yard in front and end up in the home - this was not overwhelming just slightly annoying.

Quiet and relaxing stay. Communication was easy and efficient. Accessible by train, 10-15 minutes walk from the station. Thank you for everything:)

We had a lovely stay at Marco's, cozy atmosphere, beautiful lake view with a small terrace that was very nice, very good bedding and close to the lake and the 3 islands. We recommend it!😄

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiorella's house, which was perfectly located in a peaceful environment. Fiorella was really responsive and welcoming. The house is well adapted to a small family. We will definitely come back to Fiorella's house

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

Beautiful apartment in a central location with lake view We had a great time in this wonderfully located apartment. The accommodation is very centrally located – everything is easily accessible – and the two balconies overlooking the lake are a real highlight. Although a road runs very close, the noise level was surprisingly low and hardly disturbed our stay. The apartment is well equipped, we didn't lack anything. Everything was very clean and well maintained, you can immediately tell that a lot of love for detail is put into the work here. A big plus was also the warm host. We were lucky enough to meet her in person, which made the stay even more personal and enjoyable. We were also particularly pleased that dogs are allowed – a clear bonus for us as dog owners! We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place.

Beautiful old building. The apartment was modern and clean. The location was good.

Had super nice days in Palanzo! Quiet area with lots of privacy, beautiful views and good coffee less than a minute's walk from the accommodation. As far as I'm concerned, the sun loungers on the terrace are worn out. Furthermore, there could be a little more coffee and tea and the pillows are on the thin side (personal). Host Donatella is super friendly and helpful and personally welcomed us and explained everything neatly. As far as we are concerned, it is recommended to stay here for a few days.

I will gladly return, everything as I expected, that is, excellent. Funny but not implied: it's the first time I've smelled the scent of clean sheets, I felt at home.

We stayed at the property for four days and enjoyed the time very much. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and there is everything you need. It's also worth walking to the village and strolling through the small alleys. Down on the main road there is a small delicatessen, which appealed to us very much. Within 10 minutes you are in Stresa and in 20 minutes in Arona, where you can shop well. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice place, whether it's the location that is breathtaking or the apartment that has been renovated with quality materials, everything was perfect. Even a parking space was reserved, which is a real asset around the lake…

The views from the apartment are truly insane. Every window stayed open our entire trip so we could soak it all in. Rosa was very responsive especially when a landslide blocked one of the roads and she communicated an alternative route to reach the AirBnb. She also helped us out by sending us 3 taxi driver numbers when we needed a ride out of Bellagio. We enjoyed being a little off the beaten path in Careno. It was an easy walk into Nesso. FYI there is a dock at the base of Careno so if you charter a boat they can pick you up there. Highly recommend!
