The Maarsseveense lakes are within walking distance and the nature reserve around Molenpolder is around the corner. Fantastic area for cycling or hiking or even swimming in open water. Fort de Klop and Fort Gagel are nearby. There are also a number of castles nearby that are more than worth visiting. The picturesque town of Maarssen is 4 km away.

A small Eden, within the former peatlands area between Utrecht and Amsterdam, is where you'll find our nature cabin. Equipped with al the necessary luxuries, the cabin has windows in all directions and from the lounge sofa you have a wonderful view of the surrounding nature and body of water. The fantastic porch/terrace has double doors and a lovely swing chair, built to start daydreams. And just a stonesthrow away from the cabin there's a wonderful spa (Spa Sereen).

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.
