Maalaea Bay is perfectly located and central to the entire island so it's easy to get out and explore... Watch the sunrise from high atop the clouds at the 10,000 ft. summit of Haleakala Volcano (about 45 minutes to the summit). Shop the luxury stores of Wailea (about 20 minutes away). If it is snorkeling, fishing or whale watching that interests you, just walk 5 minutes to Maalaea Harbor and jump on one the many different boat tours leaving throughout the day. I love being here! The part that I loved the most was that it was centrally located, walking distance to the harbor and aquarium and you can get to anywhere on the island for about the same time and distances. We literally went everywhere. I loved the ocean view. Super score and not too much tourist in that area so it feels more private. Don’t pass this one by because every part of it was A+++

Susan’s place was beautiful! Magnificent view over looking the ocean, immaculate kitchen & bathroom. I really appreciated that she had ground coffee & coffee filters, plus full kitchen & basic cooking supplies & seasonings. I was able to do a load of laundry while I was there, too. I didn’t see in the listing if there was an elevator, so thought I’d mention there is one conveniently located. Wonderful place! I would stay there again!

Condo was amazing! Very quiet, clean corner unit! We loved listening to the waves and watching turtles swim in the water right from the lanai. Beds were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Kitchen very well stocked! What was a huge hit to our kids of 8 & 10, was the boogie boards, pool noodles, sand toys, and we loved having good beach chairs and umbrella ready to use when we got there. They also have a cooler which was a huge bonus too! We only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Very quiet. TVs were easy to use in all the rooms. Only minor suggestion would be to describe where the elevators are….we took the stairs our first time bc we and another family checking into a different unit, didn’t realize they were back towards the front of the building. Not a big deal at all after we figured it out! Highly recommend this unit!

This was a great condo to stay at for our first trip to Maui. Very quiet. Very clean. Both my husband and I remarked on how comfortable the bed is. If you want to explore the island by car you are perfectly situated. But you also have a very low key beach right in front. We walked the beach for an hour and watched the sunrise every morning. Absolutely perfect.

We really enjoyed staying at Vicki's place. The view is beautiful. The house includes chairs, and umbrella, a cooler, and snorkel gear to use. It has a dedicated parking spot. It would be hard to find a better value in Maui.

Paradise in Stunning Penthouse -Lauloa #405

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The view and being able to use the pool were spectacular. We were able to see sea turtles every single day swimming right at the shoreline. Great view of the water and other side of Maui. This was a perfect location to have as homebase and then visit a new beach every day. I highly recommend surf lessons with Surf Shack, helicopter tour with Maverick, doing road to Hana on your own, snorkeling Molokini and dinner cruise with Sea Maui. We ate breakfast and packed lunch at the condo each day. It had everything we needed. The area was quiet, clean and a perfect halfway point between other attractions. The condo has chairs, towels and snorkel gear. Definitely a bucket list trip for us and our kids.
