Vacation rentals with beach access in Maalaea Bay

We liked the pool a lot! We also liked to play tennis and there were 2 rackets and tennisballs in the apartment. Great! The kitchen was easy to use and well equipped. The shower is very nice and the bed great. You could also use all the beach equipment. There is a beach litterally across the street. We rather liked to hike and found the location great because it was easy to get everywhere on the island. Also foodland is quite close and in Kahului, which is a 15 min drive, is every shop you want. So nothing missing. We had a great stay!

Kara was a wonderful host, very proactive. The place was very clean, great location. Definitely recommend.

Mike was a fabulous host. His home is beautiful and walking distance from the many beaches you want to get to quickly. Within walking distance is also lots of shops, restaurants and scenic walks. Although the home was needed some maintenance, Mike was responsive and took care of the maintenance while we were here. He also found many sweet ways to make it up to us for the minor inconveniences we experienced. This home is worth staying in, nothing beats the short walk across the road to the beaches and the gorgeous sunsets each evening. Thank you Mike for opening your home up to us, we all loved every minute in Maui!

The place was just as described. It was within walking distance to a really nice beach. The chairs/umbrella for the beach were great and we used them extensively. We really liked that the washer and dryer were in the unit so we had fresh towels when needed. Would definitely come back

We came here for our 20th anniversary. The views and beach are unparalleled. It is a more private setting and not walkable to downtown Kihei. This was perfect for us because we just wanted a chill place to be. It is still very accessible to the entire island and Kihei is really easy to get to. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

Perfect place to enjoy Maui with beach view from balcony. The beds were comfy and the apartment was super well equipped! We had a toddler and there was a pack n play, dining chair booster, a few toys, and baby utensils! Megan was super responsive and helpful. Could not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend the walk down the beach to the sugar beach bakery.

Really nice! Loved the view and the building is perfect direction for sunset. Condo was clean and big. The only thing I would say is that they should maybe add Tupperware and ziplocks but other than that the condo and host were great!!

Overall good place to stay- very large and open layout. Clean and had most everything we needed. Walkable to many restaurants, shops and a park. Parking was good, fairly quiet street. Had lots of extra beach stuff to use (cooler, 2 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, swimming stuff, snorkeling stuff)

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

Leslie’s place was a gem! If we are ever back to Maui, we would love to stay here again. The location was perfect for snorkeling, and Leslie’s local recommendations were awesome. The check in and out was very easy to follow. The place has beach chairs, boogie board, beach towels and so many more! We also appreciated the hot jacuzzi in the condo and the beach in the front.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

We had the best time at this condo! It was quiet and clean and was exactly what we were hoping for! Don was incredibly responsive when I had questions or needed recommendations to rent baby gear! We had a great time and hope to Come back again

Jordanne's house was was perfect. Open and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. fenced in -making it feel private even out doors. good parking area. waking distance to restaurants or really anywhere in town.

Our stay at Jacque’s place was perfect! The house was in a convenient location to all the things we were doing! Jacque was a great host and very accommodating for our arrival and departure times as well as responsive! The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed (:

Wonderful stay at the Kapalua Villas. Great pick for the price range. All was as described in listing. The location of this condo is spectacular! We LOVED our stay here. Impeccably clean inside, truly beautiful and relaxing garden and ocean views from the patio. Amazing coastal trails literally outside your door, which I recommend exploring all of (you can go 3 or 4 different directions from the trailhead!). Things you need do do while staying here: Snorkel Honolua Bay, go to Kahekili Beach park, hike down to the coastal cliffs from the access trail on site, and of course visit Kapalua Bay Beach (short walk from condo). Honolua Store down the road has affordable meals. Note that as this listing is very reasonably priced, you will need to pick up some of your own supplies like coffee, fruit, chocolate, anything in the fridge, potentially conditioner etc. depending on how much you use. A minor maintenance issue was made known to us before check in, and didn't effect our stay.

Barbara was wonderful. Gave good instructions on how to enter the property. There are elevators, so don’t feel you have to lug your luggage up three flights like we did. BE SURE your rental can clear six feet to enter the parking structure. Any issues were met with prompt solutions, many times going above what was expected. The view from the condo was incredible!! We chose to stay in the second room as we could see sunrise WHILE LAYING IN BED!! You WILL view sea turtles just off the lanai every single day, especially during high tide. Two couples can stay comfortably, however, there is only one stand up shower (other is a tub/shower without doors). Bedrooms are right next to each other & second bedroom closes off as a room with an accordian wall. The list of recommendations were on point & we found ourselves going to Cafe Ole every chance we had. The plantation around Cafe Ole was beautiful. Great spot to walk around, eat, and shop for gifts and local food. We highly recommend.

Very nice apartment in a very good location. South Maui Gardens are very near and highly recommended. Carolyn was also very friendly and easy to reach.

Our 12 days at Bin’s Airbnb were amazing. It’s hard to put into words how breaktaking the view from the studio & the lanai is. Lush lawn, swaying palms, azure ocean, and a majestic island view. We had an immersive experience with ocean, as day & night we heard the sound of the waves. Bin’s place provides beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear & boogie board, which makes it an excellent return on your vacation dollars. Bin is the best host I’ve had on Airbnb, he replaced a broken beach chair immediately, & had more towels delivered to the studio. There is some overflow from the Gazebo restaurant, as the studio is a stones throw away, that did get annoying after the first 5 days, as people left chairs and loungers on the lawn in front of the studio. The resort really needs to manage this issue. Other than that, you would never want to leave and go back home, so maybe it’s a positive!

The place was perfect for our stay. Tracy was very helpful with lots of recommendations. South Maui gardens is right next to the Airbnb and has a lot of food options. Kalama park is right opposite to it and also lot of restaurants we could just walk and go to. Place was clean and just as described. Perfect for us as a couple.

Aloha Amy we had a wonderful time in Maui. thank you, the apartment was just as advertised. Friendly and helpful staff with friendly residents and guests as well. Situated right off S Kihei Rd walking distance to the beaches, close to dozens of great restaurants, nearby markets and activities for all ages.

This is truly a hidden gem. The condo building is quite small with only 3 floors, no elevator, and sits directly on the beach. It seems that it is part of a neighborhood rather than a commercially developed area. A neighbors, who rents every year, shared the walk ability to a restaurant and wine bar literally around the corner. The pool was spotless with an abundance of chaise lounges. In short, the location is fabulous. The unit was also a find. It was as shown in the pictures, very clean, and well appointed. Being on the 2nd floor it afforded a stunning view. We truly wanted for nothing. Patrick was wonderful to work with being personable, responsive and helpful from the very beginning. The only down side is the heat in the bedroom. It was intolerably hot for sleeping as there is no a/c in this room. There is a pull out sofa bed in the LR that we seriously considered. We opted to freeze in the LR in order to try to sleep in the BR. All in, it was a great place!! Highly recommend!
