we stayed in maafushi view for 3 nights. the room is clean with wifi connection. we loved the welcome orange drink, the pickup and the free breakfast.really amazing staff! we had our snorkeling and sand bank tour with them and it was superb as well, 5 star treatment from the guys who made it sure we're always safe. they are also so resourceful they managed arrange a tent for us in the sand bank. mr abdul arranged the tour for us as he is always there ready to help. i would highly recommend maafushi view and would love to stay here again. thank you guys!

Amazing stay. We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was good about the place. Location is amazing with a picturesque landscape just outside your balcony. Just a minute walk from bikini beach and very safe. And if you happen to be there on a weekend you night even get to enjoy live guitar music played by the localities just beside the hotel. Breakfast was good but can be better. There are many restaurants close to the place where you can have lunch dinner. Do try Hotel Bites which is just 2 minute walk from the place. The hotel staff were very soft spoken especially Kalam. He helped us to planning our excursion trips. We had great fun. He was also kind enough to walk us to a beach in midnight to spot sting ray. Thank you! Thank you Salt Beach Hotel. Would sure recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I was a solo traveller and stayed at Tropic Tree for 3 nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts were all soo kind, helpful and friendly. From meeting me from the speedboat and allowing me early check in and late check out they have been so welcoming. The hotel is really clean and in a perfect location. The food offered at the hotel was delicious and dinner was very reasonably priced. Thank you for such a wonderful time, and for welcoming me to your beautiful island on Gulhi! 10/10 recommend

It was best island not far away from airport, as soon we landed at the airport we went to Paradise island counter and they had our boat ready already it was great island with lots of things to do! I loved the sports activities and Scuba diving. Beach and restaurants were amazing too! And Amine was great friendly host! We had our best time. They made sure of everything and the people and staff were 10/10 in hospitality! Totally worth it!

It is a guesthouse with few rooms and a very personalized service. The room is much better than the pictures. Very spacious and with a desk. I worked from here and the wifi was perfect. All the staff are very attentive. I recommend it!

Karan’s place was so great for a few days before my dive safari that I booked it afterward as well. He’s by far the most responsive and informative host I’ve ever had. His crew is also super friendly and helpful

Karan was a really helpful host and the staff at the guest house did all they could to make our stay wonderful…nothing was too much trouble. The room was pretty with a beach island feel and it was a beautiful location next to a bikini beach. Thank you for lovely stay:)

The Maldives do not have to be expensive. Looking to get away to white sand beaches, sparkling blue water, and more aquatic wildlife than you can imagine go to Maafushi and stay with Ahmed. Island Cottages is a great budget location on Maafushi. The location is so affordable because it's the furthest location bikini beach (the only beach swimwear is authorized on), but it's less than a 10 minute walk away. Ahmed and his staff looked after us like we were family...the cook even went out of his way to make me an American grilled cheese when I was craving comfort food. The restaurant is a great place to eat and I think the cheapest on the island. We spent over 2 weeks with them and would go back in a minute. The room we had was good sized but no windows. There was hot water, AC, and a fridge. Breakfast was included along with daily housekeeping. The only negative for me was that the WiFi was super slow but they get great cell service so just get a local sim.

Everything was perfect! The host Abdullah had organised us a truly unforgettable trips to Island and the local dishes were really delicious especially the fresh fish straight from the beach. All of the charges was reasonable so if you would like to visit Maldives, his villa is truly recommended as it's right in front of the beach and about 20-25mins by speedboat from the capital. Do ask for full board to save you penny when make the bookings. Thanks for your hospitality.

Unais is a great host and the best part is that the property is exactly as mentioned + safe and secure .. Very accessible to all shops and places nearby … The place is a must to book

We stayed 4 nights in Karan’s place and Shallow Lagoon is nothing but magical. The place is right on the beach, with a beautiful sunset view, everything you needed and great communication. Karan helped us with transport arrangements, local tips and great activities around the island. The room is located right by a dive centre, so perfect for people who want to explore the ocean or just relax on the beach. The breakfast is really good, with a lot of variety every day. We highly recommend this place and would definitely be back!

Our 11-day experience in Karan's accommodation was perfect. the room is of adequate size for two people, the bathroom is clean and equipped with everything you need. great location to get around on foot on the island and very close to the sea. Karan is a reliable, attentive and responsive host. He also gave us a lot of information about excursions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful accommodation, right on the beach of the small island of Thulusdhoo. Excellent communication with Karan and great service by Joy on location. Karan shared a list of excursions, restaurants etc with us which was really helpful since our visit to the Maldives was planned really last minute. Loved the Bali-style interior of the cabins. Everything was super clean, clutter-free and well looked after. Breakfast was right on the beach. A lovely serving of eggs, fresh fruit, bread, tea/ coffee and juice. Easy to hop on a boat and go snorkelling and there are several excellent restaurants close by to get lunch and dinner. Love to come back!

The whole experience was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Karan and Joy was always helped us out if we needed anything, everyone was really friendly there. A 100% recommended if you go to Maldives!

We stayed at MET house for 2 nights, after staying at a private resort for 3 nights and trust me, the place was mesmerizingly beautiful with a full boho feel. A definite recommendation for anyone wishing to explore the local island of Maldives.
