Our place has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double Kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has three single beds. The bed in the loft is 120 cm wide. You will find a shower room with shower, washing machine, dryer and a sink. The toilet is in a separate room where you will also find a hand basin and the hot water heater for the cabin. The Sauna is in the main hallway just outside the shower room. The hallway leads down three steps to the dining/living room/kitchen with a doorway out to the terrace area. Outside you have a terrace overlooking the lake. You will also find the outside shower and several places around the cabin to sit depending on where the sun is and the time of day. The Jacuzzi is beside the parking places for the cabin facing towards the mountain views and the lake.

Private access road and parking right by the cabin. Possibility to rent sauna and boat. Unique fishing opportunities. The cabin is located at the entrance to the Lysefjord. Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

This is a fantastic property in the outer lysefjord with very superb standard. It has a very luxurious standard with top class of everything. Wake up to the waves and enjoy the day at the seaside or at the sea. This property is in a beautiful location right on the seafront with its own pier in front of the cottage. Parking just behind the cottage. Well-equipped nest cabin with a shipsparket in the living room, loft room and 3 bedrooms make this a place for the whole family.

Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from past guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 10:20 pm on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
