Our place has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double Kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has three single beds. The bed in the loft is 120 cm wide. You will find a shower room with shower, washing machine, dryer and a sink. The toilet is in a separate room where you will also find a hand basin and the hot water heater for the cabin. The Sauna is in the main hallway just outside the shower room. The hallway leads down three steps to the dining/living room/kitchen with a doorway out to the terrace area. Outside you have a terrace overlooking the lake. You will also find the outside shower and several places around the cabin to sit depending on where the sun is and the time of day. The Jacuzzi is beside the parking places for the cabin facing towards the mountain views and the lake.

In this place, your family can stay close to Stavanger. Perfect starting point for a trip to Preikestolen, Kjerag, and Lysefjorden. Only 25 minutes drive to Stavanger and 8 minutes drive to Preikestolen parking. Jørpeland city center is within walking distance. The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen. In the living room there are 2 sofa beds, space for 4 people. Three bedrooms with a double bed in each room. There is also a baby bed. Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. In 2023 and 2025, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

Charming old wooden house in a quiet area. Enjoy the great view over the fjord from the veranda, where you can see a beautiful sunset and enjoy the heat from the campfire. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Enjoy the beauty of Lysefjorden and the surroundings. Great area for hiking. Ask us for advice! We've got several good hikes and interesting sites to recommend! 🙂 Our listing is perfect for two persons. We also welcome families with kids, but are not able to host larger groups. For groups of adults, maximum four persons. 2017: April 1st to June 20th is open for booking, the rest of the summer will be opened for bookings later. Returning guests are welcome to contact us any time.

Hytte ved Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) i Forsand.

This is a fantastic property in the outer lysefjord with very superb standard. It has a very luxurious standard with top class of everything. Wake up to the waves and enjoy the day at the seaside or at the sea. This property is in a beautiful location right on the seafront with its own pier in front of the cottage. Parking just behind the cottage. Well-equipped cottage with everything you need to have the best holiday. So many tours just outside the cottage.

Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from past guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 10:20 pm on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
