This cabin, designed by noted architect George Christensen, is a rustic retreat in town. It’s close to lots of hiking in the Prescott National Forrest. Located next to the historic Mountain Club, the cabin is a quick drive to downtown. Note, there is only room to park one/two cars at the cabin; additional parking available on a lot on White Spar Rd. Our cabin is pet-friendly for a small fee. The logs make the cabin dusty so those with allergies can be bothered. You must climb stairs to enter.

The Bird's nest has a unique spiral staircase with decks on the front and back. Front room has a twin bed and a trundle bed. The living room and kitchen bar area is very open and full of light. The living room has a 55" flatscreen with a large sectional sofa. All new appliances, dishwasher, with every kitchen need you might have. Bathroom has full shower/tub and lots of storage area. Bedroom has queen bed and lots of dresser storage area. 32" flatscreen TV. A beautiful walk out 2 story deck.

Lynx Creek runs through the property and its 1/8 of a mile back in the forest, yet only 15 minutes from downtown Prescott. Wonderful for those who love the outdoors and a quiet rustic getaway... yet close to town if you want more. There are only four cabins in the vicinity. Our family visited Prescott for a quick weekend stay and Jon’s place was beautiful. Private cabin up in the mountains and very tastefully decorated. The cabin had a great game room downstairs that our kids enjoyed along with the clean and well maintained hot tub. The drive up the dirt road only added to the experience. Thanks again for a great stay!

This was such a great place to stay!!! The house had everything we could possibly need—it was well-stocked, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was super convenient, close to stores and the freeway. We loved that it was completely separate from the main house, which gave us a true sense of privacy and our own space. We stayed for five days and enjoyed every minute. Violet was a fantastic host, and we will definitely stay here again!

Communication was excellent, and she went out of her way to ensure everything went smoothly, especially given the snowy weather during our stay. The location was convenient and peaceful, and my brother, who stayed there while visiting, felt very much at home. Katherine truly embodies what Airbnb hosting is all about. Great place to stay. Beautiful soundings and very relaxed. Inside is great an fits the vibe of the rounding area well. Great utilities and was able to use the bbq for meals. Would definitely stay again
