The space
Ladena is a stunning luxury home located just outside Queenstown on the South Island of New Zealand. Perched on a beautiful hillside, the villa gazes out on panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range. Its masterful modern design fuses interior and exterior living/dining spaces into a unique venue for serene relaxation, balancing rustic alpine beauty with high-end amenities (including an open-air hot tub). Heated floors, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, Wi-Fi, and an elevator create a comfortable haven for all travelers. Five king bedroom suites with ensuite bathroom accommodate families, destination wedding guests, and groups of friends up to ten in size.

A two-sided fireplace warms the inside of the home, flanked by a comfortable living room and a lovely dining table with breathtaking views. Next to the dining room, the fully equipped kitchen features chef-grade appliances and generous prep space. Glass walls open from the kitchen and living room to the outdoor entertainment area, featuring a barbecue grill, a fireplace, a wonderful lounge with fire pit, and an alfresco dining table beneath a slatted pergola. Accents of exposed steel and concrete lend an artful modernist edge to the home, while plentiful natural wood and Otago schist harmonize with the precious alpine setting.

Opening to a private balcony with sublime views, the master suite features a king bed, walk-in closet, satellite TV, and spacious ensuite bathroom with dual vanity, rain shower, and stand-alone bathtub. Each of the guest suites features a king bed and ensuite bathroom, as well. One of the guest suites is equipped with a walk-in closet and private kitchenette. Another opens directly to the outdoor hot tub on the lower terrace.

The villa is within comfortable driving distance of both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables ski areas, and just six minutes from Queenstown Gardens, numerous shops and restaurants, and Skycity Casino. Golf lovers are just two kilometers from Remarkables Golf Tours, which offers an array of golf travel services and packages throughout Queenstown and New Zealand. Queenstown Airport is less than seven kilometers away.
