We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Norman and Leona are very friendly and great hosts. The cottage was cosy clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is looking out to the most beautiful beach and scenery. 5min walk to beach. If you like peace and tranquility this is the place to stay. It's location is ideal to travel to other parts of the island. Norman and Leona are around if you need help with anything but they do not intrude on your privacy. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you Norman and Leona we had an amazing holiday.

Cladaich Lodge is a beautiful property in the most stunning location! Fantastic lodge which is so well equipped and styled. The views are amazing! Anne and Ian and great hosts whho are very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay here and we also hope to come back one day.

The cottage was adorable and the location absolutely beautiful! We spent some time on the beach soaking in the sunset over the water. Phil was a fantastic host - super attentive and informative. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Wat een heerlijke plek! De yurt in Shieldaig was een unieke ervaring, midden in de natuur, tussen de schapen, met volop rust en prachtige uitzichten. De houtkachel was een verrassend fijne toevoeging en zorgde voor een gezellige, warme sfeer. De badkamer en het toilet waren keurig en schoon, en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Echt een plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Ik zou hier zonder twijfel zo weer heen gaan!

Everything you need can be found in this beautiful cottage. Beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. Add to that the view of the Isle of Skye and the immediate vicinity of the great Glenelg Inn with suberp food. What more could you want?

When we arrived at Juliet’s cottage we instantly knew we were in for a treat. With lambs and bunnies literally outside the front door - we felt fully immersed in nature. The cottage has been beautifully decorated with extra special touches including the local artwork and textiles. We absolutely loved our stay, and feel incredibly grateful that we were lucky enough to experience Skirnish Cottage whilst on a trip visiting Scotland (where my family is originally from) with our 1 year old before our next baby arrives!

My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic stay here. Situated in idyllic surroundings, the pod is cosy, homely and spacious. It is kept impeccably clean and has all the essentials required for a comfortable visit. I would wholeheartedly recommend to others!

The most beautiful views from the decking - breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing. The chalet is very well set up with everything you need for your stay. There were a couple of spoilers - were the whole front window where the view should be is a ‘blown’ pane of glass that makes it very difficult to see the view .. and no beach access as the steps down were broken. Sadly took something away from our stay. Even so I would highly recommend

The flat is situated on a quiet road clean & comfortable, good for ferry terminal & Tesco supermarket also short walk to centre of town. Recommended & I will be returning in the future.

We loved this place. Truly beautiful surroundings, right on the waterfront. Nice little pub up the road that does good food and a small well stocked shop. The house was lovely. Very comfortable. Thank you!

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, die alle Herzen höher schlagen lässt. Ein traumhafter Ausblick lädt zum Verweilen ein. Vor allem wenn es draußen regnet und stürmt und man den Kamin an macht, ist es sehr gemütlich. Der Bunker ist außerdem mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten leider nur kurze, aber dafür wunderschöne Tage auf der Isle of Harris. Vielen Dank!

My partner and I had an incredible time at Sandava for his 30th birthday. The view from the cabin is incredible and we spent many an evening just sat in front of the window with our books. The location is a quiet area of the island which was exactly what we wanted, but still close enough by car to all the main attractions of Skye. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to others.

We loved the quiet rural setting on the loch with colours changing in the light all day long. The villages and towns in the area had some good restaurants and we found many places for long walks. The facilities at the house were adequate for cooking and leisure. The only downside, which did not affect us really, were some peculiarities that we've never before encountered in the many airBNBs we have rented in the past: several rooms, closets and cupboards were locked and off-limits; and many rather unnecessary "polite advice" signs posted. In our previous experience, the number of guests has had no effect on access.

Allan was very responsive. Place was in great condition, very comfortable and a wonderful setting right by the water.

One of the BEST Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at in terms of thoughtfulness, cleanliness & instructions. Not exaggerating. The location & view is outstanding & the whole experience idyllic. They really did think of everything a guest could need or want while touring Isle of Skye. None of us wanted to leave & we all would go back. Easy checkin/checkout. Many recommendations & clear instructions. We were so grateful for all the thoughtful touches & uncluttered space. I think a highlight for our party was simply the layout of the downstairs which was perfect for a dinner in with a view. We just enjoyed spending time there & wished we could be there longer. We had an incredible stay at Aline Lodge. The lodge is really beautiful - top marks for all the fires having firewood, firefighters, and matches all ready to go. The electric Aga means the kitchen is always warm, and the view is world class. We went fishing twice (caught 11 trout!), clay pigeon shooting, used the sauna, and played table tennis and billiards. The kids went out on the boat around the loch and saw sea eagles, golden eagles, seals and a porpoise. Robert the gamekeeper was great - really responsive and happy to help. Could not recommend this highly enough - we will be back!

A little piece of Heaven. Fantastic house, surrounding and view. We fought for the couch to bird watch over tidal pool. Can't say enough about this property and our host. Until next time.

We had another great stay at Alison’s place in Applecross. Just a beautiful location with lots of great places to eat and drink nearby. Fabulous walks in the surrounding area and lots of wildlife to see. We hope to come back soon.

We stayed in this house as a party of five (parents + two teenagers + grandpa), and found the house perfectly laid out for a group. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, which was so convenient, and the living area and kitchen had plenty of seating for us to congregate around. The washer and dryer were super helpful for doing laundry (a rack and small fans are provided too, to finish off any clothes still damp from the condensation dryer). We didn't do any super complicated cooking, but the cooking we did was easy with the double oven, stovetop, and dishwasher. The view is unbeatable. Like just something from a postcard. We'd sit down in the morning and mean to turn something on the TV and end up staring out the window instead. We were there during a blustery GALE and the house was still completely airtight and snug, no drafts or anything. Uig is a bit more far-flung (although it has a couple restaurants and a shop), so be sure to plan for groceries and drives accordingly.

Gorgeous views and comfortable, light filled spaces. Super beds and elegant decor. Highlights included ordering lobster from local fisherman and the nearby hikes. Alan and Gill kindly let us check out 30minutes later after I suffered a health emergency on our final night.

Wonderful stay here! The location is spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing in Portree and taking in the views without even leaving our front door. Fun shops, restaurants, and nature walks all nearby without needing to drive. Comfortable beds, plenty of space, and clean. We found the location and decor very special for a true Skye experience. Hope to come back someday!

This was such an amazing place! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an awesome time. Definitely recommend if you’re wanting to stay on the lower end of Isle of Skye. Thank you Jane for your hospitality!
