Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lunenburg County

Me and my husband stayed here for our 1 year anniversary. The place is absolutely stunning , beautifully situated on the lake and secluded from noise and people. The amenities are wonderful, we made plenty use of the outdoor hot tub. The host went above and beyond to leave a thoughtful hand written welcome note with a bar of chocolate. I loved that check in was simple with entry codes provided for the front and back entrances and for your own room. We ended up booking an extra night because we loved our time there so much. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect, beautiful and peaceful. We will 100% be returning again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for quick and helpful responses to our questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Pumpkin cottage. The advertisment just does not do the place justice. Barbara was a wonderful host and the property had everything you could think of. The decor was my style and loved having access to different areas of the home. Clean, tidy and friendly hosts. What more do you need. 5/5=would be back and would recommend to others. One little niggle is it would have been good to have some kind of Aircon. Fridge and eating utensils. Excellent

This place is a Heaven on Earth! It's quiet, secluded, and a short walk/drive to the water. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We got 4 little loaves of bread and 6 farm fresh eggs for our breakfast. Every tiny detail has been looked after. We immediately felt like we'd been there for years. We slid right into the comfort of this home.. We HIGHLY recommend this retreat. On a score of 1-10, we give it a 337!!!!

Natalia's place is perfect for those visiting Annapolis. The location is excellent, the space is clean and functional, and the outdoor yard area is gorgeous. Natalia is a great communicator and was very thoughtful in her little touches to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend and plan on coming back!

She is a great host, infact superhost. It's a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in this area. My heartfelt thanks to Shawna for making my trip comfortable and make me feel like home.

Everett and Sheila are an extremely interesting and charming couple. I enjoyed meeting them very much indeed and wish I could have stayed longer. Their spacious bedroom/living room and bathroom suite was completely equipped with everything one could need. The most delightful feature, for me, was the view from the window overlooking the water with Annapolis Royal on the other side. Two chairs and a table are thoughtfully placed in front of the window and I took full advantage of them! The area is full of other beautiful old houses with lovely gardens; great place to walk. Their recommendations for places to see were both very well worth the time: Port Royal and Grand Pre, very interesting and well presented, helpful staff. Sheila's breakfast was excellent: flavorful home-made jam, good bread and coffee.

Went here for mine and my fiancés 14 year anniversary, and have to say that this beautiful home met more than our expectations. It was in a beautiful location, the interior and exterior was stunning. Loved everything about this place, the host was even there to greet us , but we stopped for supper and did not get there in time unfortunately . The hosts kept us up to date with clear instructions before, and during our stay, and were very helpful and welcoming. Appreciated the lovely wine that was left for us beside our bed , and it was very tasteful. We enjoyed all the amenities that they have to offer and felt very relaxed and at home. We even got lucky to have the place all to ourselves, our favourite part to the evening was relaxing beside the fireplace as it was very peaceful. Definitely will be back again closer to the summer months so we can enjoy some of the water activities ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cosy Studio. It is very nicely decorated and in the best location for all that Peggy’s Cove has to offer. We watched the sun set from the bedroom and sunrise from the kitchen. Nicole responded to our questions near instantly and we loved eating next door at the Sou’Wester.

Enjoyed our stay. Was clean, comfy beds, quiet and suites our needs. In a safe and quiet neighbourhood.

Place was great. Smelled fantastic. Exactly as advertised. Jessica is very accommodating. Would stay again if we are in the area.

David’s property overlooking Shad Bay is a gem with a wonderful view! The kitchen was well stocked, and he even provided a dozen eggs, juice and bread should one desire a hearty breakfast to cook on a two burner induction hot plate. The kitchen, while large, is not designed to cook full dinners. The bed was very comfortable. David’s decorating style is eclectic with a good dose of contemporary mixed in with traditional furnishings and the art taking center stage. David greeted us upon arrival and we spoke with him every morning. We had delightful conversation. A highlight for us was interacting with Molly and Peaches, a small poodle and a large doodle. We would highly recommend David’s accommodation!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sandcastle B&B. Sorry it has been so long after our first stay. Clary and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. We hope to return again soon

Leslie and Kevin have an impressive home which they generously share with others. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk from the historic downtown. Breakfast was great and we appreciated all the historic information Kevin provided.

Impecable place. Beautifully Victorian style. Great location. It was perfect for our 2 night stay.

Shelburne is beautiful. Simply beautiful. Lovely water; charming historic buildings, including this house across from the bay; and friendly people, especially including these hosts. I very much enjoyed the art in the house and the good breakfasts, with home-made baked goods. You can’t go wrong here!

Penthouse is a great staycation for couples who want to spend the evening downtown Halifax and come back to relax!

Con was excellent to communicate with. The building and grounds are gorgeous! Their care and maintenance is evident. Breakfast was good and we met some other great travelers. Wished we had more time to relax in the beautiful surroundings.
