Monthly Rentals in Lummi Island

First, we really loved the place and the views cannot be beat. It is quiet, truly peaceful, and has amazing views of the Sound and Mt. Baker. The grounds are immaculate and the house is very nicely decorated. I have to say, it is probably the most well stocked kitchen for dishes, pans, spices, teas, and utensils. We loved the serenity of Lummi Island and even got a couple of nice bike rides in. One item to mention though, there is a third bedroom but it requires going through one of the other bedrooms to get to it so its not very private. This worked great for us as we used the room for our infant daughter but 3 couples would find this awkward. It was not clear on the listing so I figured it needed a mention. Gudrun was very responsive, especially when the Wifi went out for a bit (island maintenance) and he kept us updated. Not a lot of attractions on the island but we were vacationing with an infant so just hanging out on the grounds and visiting with family was good enough.

A lovely, cozy yet modern retreat. The space is beautiful, the view swoon worthy, and the best stocked kitchen at an Air B&B! The knives were sharp! The cutting boards were clean! Everything worked perfectly! You can tell this place is well taken care of and a true gem.

the space at Full Bloom Farm was lovely and inviting. Along with being clean and spacious, there were fresh flower arrangements, lovely art and a great kitchen. Plan on bringing food and cooking as Lummi Island has one restaurant open for dinner only and limited shopping. the farm has a food stand, cash/honor system with very nice produce, eggs and some meats. bring your own bread and wine. i also suggest you bring a computer and/or games for entertainment (very good wifi). if your looking for a quiet getaway, hikes, and just a great space to stay this is the place. we enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and beautiful stay at Brent & Shelly's. The place was just what we needed as an escape from the city to slow down and decompress. The "ADU" was separated from the main structure by a garage, so it was very quiet. There are 2 separate patio spaces to enjoy (which we did), and the hot tub was appreciated after my ocean dips. But the best was hanging out, walking the shore / road, and listening to birds. The house was clean, the kitchen worked well for cooking in, and we slept great in the king bed. What a great place to visit and worth a return trip - there was lots more to see. Highly recommend visiting the Artisan Wine Gallery for wine tasting with the locals and great conversation. Don't forget to bring groceries - on-island shopping and eating out is limited.
