A vacation home with a garden all to yourself. Our romantic vacation home is located in the middle of nature, on a sunny, forested slope above the small village of Mühlbach. The well-kept garden, enclosed with a hedge, has many nice seating areas. In the garden there is a small pond, two beautiful large sun loungers and a grill. The beautiful view of the village and the beautiful low mountain landscape enchants every guest. One pet is allowed.

Our granny flat "Zum kleinen Zollstock" is small but OHO. It is accessible at ground level. The bathroom offers a floor-level shower in addition to a toilet and sink. Towels and shower gel are provided. The sofa bed can be extended to 1.60 m and invites you to relax with the rotating smart TV. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge, induction stovetop, mini oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and matching accessories.

Here you will find a beautiful countryside retreat, lovingly furnished and plenty of space to feel good and relax. The apartment is wonderfully suitable for nature lovers and longer stays. The central location allows you to plan day trips by bike, hiking tours, canoe trips on the Fulda River, and visits to the festival right from your doorstep.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

You can use and explore our 20,000 m² lot. Not far from our farm you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandbox/table tennis table …
