A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfy, the pool was great and the views were stunning! it was approximately 20 mins walk to La Joya and 35 mins to Hotel Fuente del Sol, so was easy to get around as well.

Very good welcome, accommodation in an idyllic setting, very good bedding, very good indoor and outdoor equipment, we had a great stay and recommend this accommodation!

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

Very nice place to have a good time. l Lots of space and privacy, all clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered us a lot of flexibility with check-in and checkout. Can recommend the place and would come back.

Wonderful but too short stay in this lovely house, carefully prepared by David with the help of his mom Aurora. In the middle of nature, quiet, surrounded by olive trees and flowers: perfect for recharging your batteries! We were with our 3 small children who also enjoyed it very much.

We enjoyed a weekend with friends at Ramon's house and it couldn't have been better. The house is as shown in the photos and very clean. The pool and kitchen are undoubtedly the greatest charms of the house. It's also just an hour's drive from Córdoba and Málaga. The hosts were very kind and helpful at all times. A 10 out of 10 experience, we will definitely be back.

We had a great end, even if the weather did not go with it. The house , very nice in an accessible area, but at the same time quiet. It was very well equipped with utensils , blankets and towels , comfortable beds. Amalia was attentive and attentive in our stay and welcomed us with the chimneys on , good communication and accessible at all times .

Jesus' house is a pretty house full of history, very nice and very well maintained. We had a wonderful peaceful and secluded stay in the middle of the olive groves. Please note that it is necessary to have a vehicle to get around or run errands. Our stay went wonderfully and Jesus was very available and helpful. Only small downside, the pool was not usable because it was closed for winter. It will be best to inquire with the host to make sure the pool is usable. But there are many options for swimming in the area. I recommend this house for a disconnection stay in Andalusia.

The place is exactly as described in the listing. The pool is great if you go with kids, it's not covered and is perfect for them to play. Perfect place to disconnect. Jose Luis is very attentive!!

This is a beautiful old former flour mill that has been lovingly converted into a fantastic holiday home. We spent almost all of our time by the pool, which is absolutely wonderful. We did all our cooking/eating in the separate kitchen area that is next to the pool. The interior of the house is great too, it has good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and two nice bathrooms. There are sofas to relax on, a number of flat-screen TVs, and good wi-fi throughout. The house and pool are completely private, and although being next to a small road, there was almost no traffic. It is too far to walk to the village, but only a few mins drive by car. The owners, Pino and Pedro, are lovely - very friendly and welcoming. They explained all about the interesting history of the property. It was very hot at night in Aug, so we had to buy some fans for the bedrooms from a nearby village. The fans also blocked out the sound of distant dog barking, which is of course common to rural areas of Spain.

Great stay in Manuel's rural casa! The proximity to iznajar lake, the hills full of olive trees, the surrounding villages were beautiful. Convenient because 1 h from Cordoba and pomegranate. Pool was perfect. Manuel and his wife were absolutely adorable.

The stay at Gloria's house was magnificent. It's the second year we stayed there. Everything is clean and tidy and the house is very complete. The environment is very nice. Gloria and her daughter have been very kind and have been attentive to all our needs. I'm sure we'll repeat it.

Rafael and his wife are very welcoming and smiling, always available if needed. This stay was beautiful! Better than in the photos, we expected it to be pretty but we were left speechless by the quiet accommodation and the beautiful view that was offered to us. no regrets about the place, no regrets about the price. We had a wonderful stay at Hilke’s place. The photos do not do the place justice. There is a beautiful view from the balcony. Family friendly place that strikes a good balance between activities for the children and nice surroundings for the adults. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly in everything, they answered my questions quickly, they let us in early and leave after the set hours, They helped me book a surprise birthday cake and brought it to our house on a Sunday. They were excellent hosts, The house is in perfect condition, clean, tidy, very nice and comfortable, everything is tidy and very complete with all kinds of equipment, it is located in a quiet place that neither bothers nor is bothered by the neighbors. I recommend it to everyone who goes to that area, for me a 10 in everything. I'm sure we'll repeat whenever Maria Luisa and her brothers open the doors for us.
