Raven Rays: In the Woods

HollyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Place was wonderful. I was looking for something handicap accessible for my grandma. There were a few steps we had to get her in, and the doorway to the bathroom and bed rooms were to small for the wheel chair. Since she was able to stand and walk a few steps with some help it wasnt a problem for us. And she was able to get around the rest of the house just fine. It was so peaceful and quite. The fire pit was amazing, spend hours hanging out around it. Not to far away from stores and only a 24 min drive to the falls. Everything was amazing. Thank you for letting us stay!
The living room features a cozy arrangement of dark leather seating, including two sofas and a bar area with two stools. A large flat-screen TV is positioned for easy viewing, alongside an electric fireplace. Natural light filters through plaid curtains over the windows.

Beach’s Trail Houz.

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Lots of room/beds if you have a big group. Close to the trail head. King size bed was really comfortable. Everything you would need with tons of amenities. All and all a great place but could use some updating. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the end of our stay. Derek was very responsive and helpful!

Cozy house in town close to snowmobile trail

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were in town for work and Derek's place was exactly what we needed. It wasn't fancy, but it was very clean, it had all the amenities that we needed (and that were listed), and at a great price. We were really happy to stay there and would definitely do so again.

UP Getaway close to trails

ConnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was a great place for our excursions in the Upper Peninsula. We were on the go a lot but it was a nice peaceful & comfortable place to come "home" to each night. I loved that I could do my laundry and didn't have to come home with a lot of dirty laundry!

in town centrally located pet friendly

AshleeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This house is the perfect mix of old fashioned and updated. It is in town and within walking distance to food and the store. But you wouldn't know that you are in town. It's quiet and you see people, but don't hear them when inside. The house was really clean and had everything that we needed. And my dogs were allowed.

Hidden Haven: Seclusion on the Superior Shoreline

AndyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Hosts were very responsive. For the snowmobile crowd. Heated barn was awesome! Trails were close but might need to scratch the road if light on snow and going west. East connection was super close! My only minor complaint was the heat was a smart thermostat and it kept dropping to 60ish degrees every night. Guessing it sensed no movement. Had to get up a couple times to set back to 70 from being a little cold. A note… I did not ask the host to change this as it wasn’t a big deal. But just passing on for future. I’ll be back in the summer for sure!

Camp Two Hearted- Off-Grid & Riverfront Base Camp

JohnRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Perfect fall getaway! Aside from the outhouse (which was not bad at all for an outhouse) you hardly notice you're “off grid.” The solar-powered lights, woodstove & furnace, propane refrigerator, cookstove, and kitchen set-up made it a significant step-above camping. The hosts provide a book of area resources and maps that we found very useful. We wish they would have provided directions to their “secret rock spots.” We enjoyed the base camp and the excitement of daytrips in our Jeep on the backroads — but it was hard to leave the enjoyment of the camp. The setting is breathtaking: the Two Hearted below a stroll by day and a bonfire under the stars at night. What a secret gem!

Escape to Superior’s Treasure Cabin

SarahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The location is beautiful. I miss it already. Roads were rough, but you get a little more used to them after a while. The place was extremely clean. The beds were new memory foam. Maybe a little on the softer side, but were perfect for me. Amenities are minimal, so pack accordingly, bring soap. It was a nice mix of roughing it and comfort. At night you can hear the whip-poor-will calling. The rock hounding in the area is fantastic. Agates are few and far between, but that is what makes the hunt exciting. Steve was very friendly and helpful. His dogs were sweet and like to greet you. I will definitely return.

Sonda was very helpful and allowed us to check in a bit early when we got into town from Florida. She was also very understanding about the storm coming through and damage a chair outside. I would totally stay at the home again. It was gorgeous and felt like home. Thank you Sonda for letting us stay at your home.
