We offer farm style accommodation in an 8 sleeper self catering unit. This is a fully functional Karoo sheep farm with seasonal shearing and lambing. There is no cell phone reception but Wifi is available. Explore our scenic views and fun activities. Come enjoy an unforgettable Karoo farm experience.

Although the cottage is self catering, the Whistling Bridge Cafe is open from 7am to 4pm and offers delicious breakfast and lunch menu options.

Kooperasie Stories

Step back in time when you stay at this unique and historic place. The building is estimated to be approximately 100 years old. It functioned as the very first shop in town many years ago and was later acquired by the current Farmers Cooperative and used for storage for many years. It fell into disrepair at one stage and was then fixed up for accommodation purposes and rebuilt back to its former glory. It is situated close to restaurants, Art Gallery and other amenities.

The Pioneer Cottage is one of three antique shearer cottages situated on a working merino farm. This stone cottage offers sleeping space for a family of 4. It has a traditional "out-house" a few metres from the cottage with views and privacy that is quant and utterly charming. The asbosskerm under the Mesquite tree is perfect for an al-frasco dinner or braai. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at The Yard Farmtable.
