Monthly Rentals in Loon Lake

We had another great stay at Kate Mountain Farm. This is a beautiful, interesting, and original place to stay located on a working farm. Waking up in the unique upstairs loft bedroom with a view of the sunrise hitting the pine trees never gets old. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Lake Placid or Saranac Lake, with the beauty of the woods and hiking nearby, and easy driving access to all that the high peaks of the Adirondacks have to offer. The place was spotless as usual, with many goodies provided to make your stay a nicer experience. Thank you Aaron!

Everyone else has already said it: clean, exceptional, serene. You wake up to a panoramic view of the rolling ADK hills and a couple of deers every morning. The architecture and finishes are awesome, copper beam caps, matching outside/inside railings, window framing. The local brewery in Bloomingdale with live music was awesome. Location was great a few minute outside of Saranac Lake and short drives to everything else around Hwy 73/86 & Whiteface Mtn.

It was a perfect fit for us, and we had a wonderful time. Most relaxing vacation in a long time. The cabin is small, and the decor and furnishings were a real step back in time, as you can see in the pictures. But we had all the room we needed, and everything worked even the WIFI. The location is not in a dark sky area, but we were still able to see all the stars at night (and of course all the beautiful trees during the day). And although it's not a waterfront property, it's close enough that we were able to carry the kayaks ourselves to the lake/pond.

Andrea's place was perfect for our quick get away to Paul Smith's college. It is a beautiful area with lots of outdoor hiking options. The place was much larger and even nicer than we expected. Instructions for tv, internet, etc were clear and easy to follow. Well stocked kitchen but we didn't really use anything while we were there due to such a short stay. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms beautiful- plenty of hot water and water pressure! Heat worked well and kept us cozy. Loved the deck and wish we were there longer to enjoy the space!
