Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Longues-sur-Mer

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Really lovely flat. Had a great stay. Minor issues in the beginning working out where we were going and where the car park was but that was us just not knowing the area. Would recommend.

Perfect location with great facilities. Great explanation of the apartment and excellent suggestions for meals and sightseeing. The apartment was clean and welcoming with everything we needed. So close to lots of lovely shopping areas, restaurants, cafes and tourist attractions. Highly recommend this apartment.

We had a great stay at Vincent’s place. He met us there and was very friendly, showed us around and provided good local recommendations. We really liked the galette restaurant opposite the Tapestry. Thanks Vincent! It really is the perfect location to explore Bayeux and the main centre and the Tapestry are 5 minutes walk away, although the Tapestry shuts in September for renovation work. We will come again and do some cycling next time, it really is that nice a place to stay.

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. SUPER well equipped. The town is also amazing. It's the perfect home base for exploring the D-Day beaches/sites. Look... you'd be CRAZY not to book this property. So... what are you waiting for? This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

We loved staying at Carine’s lovely home in Bayeux. The house is very comfortable and the garden is beautiful. The house is an excellent base for exploring the D-Day landing beaches as well as further inland in Normandy. Walking into Bayeux is really easy and there’s a lovely bakery only 5 minutes away by foot. Thanks Carine for the great recommendation.

Lawrence was very helpful and replied to all of our questions in a timely manor. The house was extremely clean and tidy. This is a great place to travel to all locations of Normandy. We were about 15 minutes driving time to wonderful quaint restaurants, towns and D Day activities. I highly recommend this listing.

Very good stay at this accommodation, both children and adults enjoyed the quality of the accommodation, the outdoor space as well as the walking distance to the beach and the many activities and attractions to see a few kilometers away by car or bike.

The home was even more beautiful than pictured. Beautiful yard with plenty of space for children. Well appointed kitchen, spotless, nice size bathroom, everything was brand new. Hosts were very friendly, accommodating of our last-minute check in, and provided great recommendations for restaurants. Very peaceful yet close to downtown Bayeux. Highly recommended!

had a lovely stay and would recommend. to note the apartment is 5 mins (down steep, long hill) to the port and shops. it was fine for us but might be worth noting if you are on bikes x

I loved this place ! It was incredibly clean and very comfortable -- especially the bed. The apartment is within walking distance of everything, including the train station. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store a couple of blocks away. The pickup spot for the bus tours to the Normandy beaches are just around the corner, as is the Tapestry Museum. The location is just perfect. There are some steep stairs getting up to the front door and within the apartment itself, so someone with mobility issues might have problems, but other than that, this apartment is a 10\10 for me !

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Great waterfront with kids, beach in front of the bay of the loggia, sublime view, easy parking, secure residence with gate remote. Functional apartment, very well arranged, space, big plus the closed loggia that opens fully. Yasmina was very flexible and gave good advice on arrival and departure. Friendly and very available hosts. 5 minutes from Cabourg and 15 minutes from Houlgate, easy access to visit the flowery coast as well as the landing sites. We would recommend it in a second. Very well located bright and cozy apartment with small balcony and ultra convenient parking location Vincent was very accommodating for check-in and check-out times his qualifier as a great host is quite deserved I recommend it without hesitation!!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!
