Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Long Island

This is a great home with everything you need on the north part of the island. The home is comfortable with AC in each bedroom. The location is very private and you essentially have a beach to yourself given how quiet it is on the island. We didn’t see anyone on our part of the beach across a couple days.

Greet service by Susan and her husband! When ever we needed help she was up and ready to help! She even managed to change the wifi since we were 7 at the villa, ended up with a super fast wifi. You’re welcome for everyone who’ll need a place with great wifi and an amazing view😉

This was our family’s second trip to Long Island and our second time staying at Atil’s. We loved every minute of our time on the island and at Atil’s home. The location of this house is truly perfect…it’s amazing to be able to walk to Dean’s Blue Hole. The house also includes so many wonderful additions like a kayak, clear kayak, and beach chairs. Our three boys (1, 3, and 6) love the closet full of toys, playing in the yard, and running up and down the giant veranda. It’s a perfect house for a family! Atil is an incredibly generous and attentive host. He truly tries to take care of the people who stay at his house. Thank you, Atil, for another wonderful trip! We can’t wait to return!

That stay was an absolute dream. The stay itself was clean and modern and had a big kitchen and everything you need live there for a couple of days. As soon as we saw the beach which was completly ours during the stay we lost our breath.. it just looked like in a movie or in a dream. No words for this. If you have the chance to go there.. don’t think twice

Great location within the Stella Maris Resort area, very on theme gecko house. Everything is as in the photos and the oceanfront view is just as great as the hosts.

Carolyn’s favorite is a gem. Amazing views, great space, easy walk to the restaurant, the beach bar, and the beach. Quiet, comfortable, fantastic!

Our stay at this home and Stella Maris exceeded all expectations! The accommodations were even better than imagined, and the staff were incredibly friendly and beyond helpful. Stunning location, great people - we ended up staying in the Flamingo house which was amazing. Loved the natural pools and the resort pools. Beach was gorgeous. Views hard to believe. Bar food was great and our waitress Shanelle was awesome. Love Beach was just down the road and very nice also. Snorkeled at the rock pools. Beds are older and decor is dated however space and decks were very nice. Resort food was good however a bit pricey for our budget, found some great takeaways just down the road. Met some really great people - had fun at the resort rum punch party. Drove to the Stella Maris lot at the cape (they also provide a shuttle), cabanas were taken up but the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! Only negative is I didn’t notice until we arrived that power was extra on top of the nightly price (fine print).

HIGHLY recommend this resort for families getting to know the island AND return visitors. This island is truly a gem, and the resort is perfectly situated in the northern part of the island to relax, explore and connect with your loved ones! The Flamingo House is a great home for large groups that want the convenience of a resort, with the privacy of a house. We'll definitely be back for: the 4 large bedrooms, open living space, and the prime location next to the saltwater pool - with a direct path from your porch to the most amazing swimming experience! Freshwater pool is a plus and also closeby. The staff deserves 10 stars for cooking our fresh catch 2xdaily, the best drinks at the Moonshine bar (house has private path to it), and staying open later for us after a day of exploring. Would only dock a half star for the screen doors that were tough to open, AC upgrades needed in 1-2 bedrooms, and some necessary renovations, but nothing I wouldn't expect in the Bahamas!

We had a great stay at Rainbow house. Bedroom set ups were perfect for our guests. Great location at Stella Maris, close to the airport and we were able to explore the island.

Another amazing stay with Jill at Stella Maris! Long Island has been a favorite haunt for years and Stella Maris has quickly become my favorite place to stay. Jill is always incredibly accommodating and communicative. She was an absolute god send this trip when my elderly in-laws and our 2 young children had a flight hiccup in Nassau. She went out of her way to help us make sure they got here the same day and were able to enjoy the vacation. She was equally as helpful and accommodating when we needed additional transport, set us up with great activities for the whole family, and made sure we had another amazing trip to Long Island!

Place was great for the value, turtle cove is gorgeous, Atil was a great host. Make sure you touch base with him before the day you get there. I forgot to do this and had some complications finding the right place.

We had a wonderful stay! Lee was a friendly and accommodating host who always responded quickly and made everything easy. The rental was clean, comfortable, and set in peaceful, tranquil surroundings. It was also easy to find and conveniently located close to the airport. Lee’s knowledge of the island was a bonus—she offered great tips that made our visit even better. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for our anniversary trip and everything was awesome. Nice cool sea breeze. Beautiful sunrise and moon rise view. Quiet. Peaceful. Cozy. Check in n out was a breeze. They even decorated the place for valentines. We loved it.

This cottage was adorable outside and in and very clean, and the property setting was absolutely beautiful. Also, if you enjoy secluded beaches (one beach we had completely to ourselves -- like in a movie!), you will love this island at this time of year. Having Tiny's bar/grill right next door was really nice, and the stars at night were spectacular! The ONLY downside was it wasn't really a good place to swim. You had to drive to a swimmable beach. Also, FYI about the island, the restaurants are not always open when they say they are! But if you are okay not swimming at your location yet still having an AMAZINGLY beautiful view and place to stay, on a low-key island with beautiful beaches, this is your place. Still absolutely a 5-star stay. Thanks, Michelle!

Wow! This was such an amazing place to stay in Long Island—we truly loved it here. It’s a safe, welcoming island, and while we normally don’t return to the same place twice, this spot will be hard not to revisit. The house had everything we needed, including thoughtful safety essentials like EpiPens, a choking kit, and a first aid kit. It was comforting to know those were there, especially since there aren’t hospitals directly on the island. We adored the balcony view. Like many reviews mentioned, it’s the perfect spot for coffee and breakfast. We also had dinners there and stargazed most nights—the skies are stunning. We stayed in late May, and the beach really opened up more toward the end of the month, with significantly lower tides. High tide usually came in around 4–5:30 p.m. The beach in front of the house is amazing. I loved the rocks and the little hidden cove, which offers natural shade at times. There was some seaweed build-up, but it didn’t affect the water quality during

The stay was enjoyable. The location was ideal for watch the sunrise over the ocean. The pool was clean and relaxing. Will definitely book again!

Tiny’s gave us exactly what we needed—peace. It was so great to get a week of sleep with the only sounds being nature. The people of Long Island are so friendly, there is real community here, which is very refreshing. Michelle and Jason are phenomenal hosts who take great care in creating an experience that is comfortable, minding all the details. Our cottage felt like home and a having the restaurant on premises was a wonderful added bonus. 10/10 recommend staying at Tiny’s for a quiet getaway.
