We had a great experience staying at this place! It’s located in the rainforest, has great views, you can hear the sound of jungle at night which is very relaxing. The chalet seems to be pretty new and was very clean. The beds were comfortable too. The road to this place is dark at night, and has lots of bends. We didn’t have any issues though, you just have to be careful driving there especially at night. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Instructions were clear, and easy to follow. Overall it was a great experience, and we had a lot of fun!

Gorgeous location, we loved this airbnb. The view is unbelievable, surrounded by the rainforest. We saw so many snails and lizards, enjoyed all the balconies and the pool. 10/10

Loved staying here! The Mountain views were beautiful to wake up to and the casita was the perfect size! The outdoor areas are also incredible, lots of space to lounge and take in the views. You are about 15 minutes from Canóvanas and 20 from Carolina, which was great! I’d highly recommend staying here!

I highly recommend this stay if you are looking to be surrounded by the sound and feel of nature! It is private and in perfect location to all the main attractions and beaches! Amazing food nearby and a very friendly community! The host was very responsive and helpful, they made us feel very welcomed. The property is exactly as described but I promise it will still take your breath away! We loved the view and the pool! We Spent many hours swinging in the hammock! Thank you kelvin for these memories !

This place was fantastic if you want to feel connected to nature and the forest side of the island. The Airbnb does provide everything you need and some extras. There is not much internet or signal there so if you are looking to disconnect this is the place! Communication is great! I got lost but they responded quickly and helped me find the location. As far as cons, we did have power issues considering electricity its battery and solar operated. Not sure if perhaps there isn’t much direct sunlight there to keep the power running through the night because by close to 11am power was back up. It did not bother me but be aware if buying food that requires cooking or staying refrigerated. Showering it’s outside for the Domes, so come with a bathing suit. They are private but you do have visibility to the other people staying in the property so you can be seen showering. The sound of nature it’s strong and loud, you’ll find lots of Coquis and wildlife on the property. It’s Amazing!

This was not my first time staying at Samuel and his wife’s Airbnb, and once again, it was an incredible experience. The hosts are truly excellent, warm, welcoming, and attentive. The space is always clean, peaceful, and tucked away from the chaos, which makes it the perfect getaway. I genuinely felt at home here. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing spot surrounded by nature, this is the place for you. However, if the sounds of coquis (Puerto Rican tree frogs) and other wildlife aren’t your thing, this might not be the best fit. For me, it’s part of the charm and why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

A very unique stay amidst the wilderness! We loved listening to all the sounds of the forest and being surrounded by the lush greenery. It was a perfect way to disconnect from the city and engage in nature. The place had all we needed and we loved the indoor-outdoor aspect. Would highly recommend if you’re a nature lover and want a retreat into the gorgeous wilderness!

The house and property are absolutely stunning and obviously deeply cared for and well maintained. We checked in on the day of the island-wide blackouts and Ivan reached out well before we arrived to ensure us the property has a generator and that we isn’t need to stress about not having power. His concern and communication were top notch. And the house and location are amazing: peaceful, beautiful, and exceptional. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be away from the hustle and bustle.

Wonderful! We had a fantastic stay during our spring break trip. Our family of four stayed for a couple of nights so there was more than enough space for us to unwind. As birders, we specifically chose this location for its proximity to nature; it did not disappoint. We didn’t have time to explore the nearby trail but appreciated having it close by - we wandered around the area instead. The house is 40 minutes from El Yunque Rainforest as well as Old San Juan making it a great base away from the city. The home was clean and comfy. We played cards and cooked together, though we did note that there was no oven. Not a big deal, we made our cookies in the air fryer instead! The amenities were plentiful, and Carmen was lovely. Finding the property was a bit tricky only bc the address led us past the house but the response was quick and we found our way. Be prepared for narrow mountain roads that can be for tricky for two way traffic. The natural sounds make it a unique experience.
