Barn vacation rentals in Loire

Very nice welcome from Christine who, having been unable to make herself available to welcome us, had prepared the stove: all that was left was to light the match! The accommodation is clean, functional, warm and spacious: perfect for taking a break, whatever the weather. We also took advantage of our stay at Christine's to go to Puy du Fou, located 25 minutes from the accommodation. The exchanges with Christine are warm and jovial, thanks again for everything!

Well equipped and good location. We had a great month by the fire, quiet, surrounded by nature. Close to small towns with activities, supermarkets and 20min from Perigueux About 2 hours from Sarlat and other beautiful sites in the Dordogne. Even though a lot of things are closed in January, we didn't get bored! Easy and pleasant communication with Jacques and his daughter Claire-Helene. Friendly hosts, we recharged ourselves. Comfortable bed too which is a bonus! Thank you for everything

Le Coeur de Marguerite is located in a green setting, high up a few steps from the Sioule, bathed by the song of birds. Thanks to Denise and Claude for their very friendly and generous welcome. Lots of nice hikes in the area including a beautiful 20 km loop within walking distance of the cottage.

We loved this accommodation. The highlight is the large terrace looking over the village and church, where you can eat and relax. The house is spacious and very comfortable with everything you need.

Anais's cottage is really lovely! Old farm building tastefully restored. We enjoyed the large living room and cool seating area to rest, all very well equipped in simplicity. It felt like a family home where we meet! Table outside overlooking the hills and fields and even a small sheltered outdoor space to enjoy if too hot or rainy. Bucolic spirit. Anaïs is discreet, available and responsive. Very nice contact. Thank you Anaïs.

Very good stay that we highly recommend. Thomas is a very available and flexible host on schedules which is very nice. Our little one loved feeding the chickens and was able to enjoy a nice egg. The little welcoming touches that Thomas had reserved for us touched us. We'll be happy to go back

Exceptional!! Everything was absolutely perfect, the place is beautiful and very well decorated. Gilles and Nicole are extremely kind and made us feel very welcome in their haven. We were also able to enjoy the hot tub, the heated pool and the small vegetable garden in their garden. The optional breakfast was also delicious. These few days in their cottage were a real enchanted break.

Cyril's accommodation has a lot of character and a very pleasant outdoor area. We would happily stay again and recommend this place to anyone who wants to discover this beautiful part of the Ardeche.

Everything comes together for an idyllic stay at Francis and Patrick's. The accommodation is beautiful, very well decorated and equipped. Special mention for bedding! Thanks to Patrick's support, we were able to venture out by boat and discover the Poitevin marsh. A peaceful haven, a delicious mix of nature and magic. We recommend it 100% for nature lovers looking to disconnect!

I can’t recommend Jean’s place enough. It was truly lovely. What a peaceful and beautiful environment. I really enjoyed my stay there. Jean was such a great host. I was really appreciative of the nice bottle of wine and bottle of Perrier she gave me as a welcome gift. I definitely hope that I will be able to return one day!

The setting is exceptional, we loved cooling off in the beautiful pool surrounded by greenery, strolling in the garden worthy of a botanical park and relaxing in the hot tub after hiking in the area. Special mention to Fiona and Nadine who were very attentive during our stay!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Samantha and Georges' place, great hosts, kindness, friendliness and kindness. Their hospitality was exceptional and everything is designed to make you feel immediately good. The accommodation is both comfortable, charming and perfectly equipped for an ideal stay. It feels like home with a wonderful setting: meadows, horses, swimming pool, orchards …Everything is there for absolute relaxation. It's a rejuvenating place, where you can really rest. Peaceful haven, perfect for a restful night after a long drive! Helene and her husband are very welcoming, the place is beautiful and of great quality! Located a few minutes from several castles, the location is perfect for visiting the surroundings in a few days. I highly recommend it!!

We had a lovely stay with friends in this beautiful barn, tastefully renovated. The living room is spacious and the garden huge and quiet, perfect for children. We were hosted very well and welcomed by Anne. This farm stay enchanted young and old. We were able to visit the farm under the guidance of Anne, who gave us explanations that were both very interesting and informative. We were lucky enough to see calves, the last of which was born 3 days before our arrival. There is also the donkey Trot-Trot, the pony Sonic, the cats, the goats... A picnic and barbecue area was very useful, not to mention relaxing in the hot tub. I highly recommend this place, where I will gladly return. Thanks to Anne and her little family!! It was a real pleasure.

We had a fantastic stay at Patrick & Jacqueline’s. They’ve done a great job on the property and it’s a perfect location for exploring the dordogne. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our family came together for a week at Les Coquelicots from all parts of the world and what a wonderful time we had. The home is charmingly appointed and fits eight adults comfortably, with lots of alternative spaces in which to find quiet or relocate for a change of scenery. The garden is a lovely setting for reading and dining, the living room is spacious for games and movies and the bar is another kitsch space to convene with some delicious bottles easily found in Burgundy. We were always able to contact someone for assistance and we found lots of spices, teas, oils, vinegars and all one might want to find in a delightful countryside kitchen. The home is in a beautiful village about 20 mins by car from Beaune and other villages within the region. Walking in the countryside and enjoying an evening sunset is possible on foot to many different vantage points. It’s a special place to relax, make memories and feel connected with nature.

Absolutely loved our stay at Patrick's place! The house was spotless, stylish, and perfectly located. Patrick was a fantastic host—responsive and thoughtful. Would 100% stay again!
